It was a great first video. I always like seeing the things that are in abandoned places, like ornaments or equipment. I know there wasn’t any to see on this explore. It’s always interesting to hear an intro to the history of a place. Good luck with future explores. I love your little dog, so plenty of little looks at her/him would be great lol. X
Just started watching and from one shy guy to another, I appreciate your intro and you immediately gained a subscriber because of your honesty! 🤗👍 LOL, that spider was HUGE !!
That was an antique pump organ in the dining room, not a piano. Like you I'm not too impressed with spiders, even dead ones like the one in that sink. 😀
Found your instagram and I’m ovsessed with your stuff !! Wanted to see longer videos so came to UA-cam !! What you’re doing is soo interesting !! I never even knew these places existed and so interesting that one day everyone left and didn’t come back and left everything behind ! Please never stop creating videos !
@@owenmcnutt of course ! Thanks for the reply ! I’m from Dublin and I always used to pass derelictt castles driving through Ireland( like the ones completely in ruins ) but these abandoned houses / mansions you’re showing are a whole other level of cool! It’s like they’re siting there completely forgotten . And I’ve never passed any from the roadside (or I wouldn’t even know if I had because they don’t look abandoned from far away)! Every time I watch your Instagram videos I’m wishing they’re longer ! Also not only do you capture amazing UA-cam footage but I love how you do prior research to narrate it ! Honestly amazing !! Keep going because this is such an unreserached /undocumented topic in Ireland and I see a future for you in leading documentaries or something along those lines ! Never seen anything like this on rte or anything !!
Reminds me of a school trip to Ross on Wye with dormitories/rooms . Shame it's abandoned if same if same place. You did a 👍🏻 and sub from me, try distriptive words rather than like like like lol. Never go alone is best advise as dog can't help with broken legs xx
Welcome Owen! It's a pleasure to see a new explorer and a new face. You've done so well, for a first time, that's impressive, genuinely. And you have a wonderful voice to go along with everything. I got a chuckle out of the moment you spotted that spider! That was great, I'm glad you included it. Your intro and your photography are great. I might only suggest that when you move the camera, move it just a bit slower. It makes some of us older folks a bit sea sick. The only other suggestion I might make, is that you do your best to eliminate the word "like" from common conversation, unless of course it's something you see that you actually do like. If that's something you hang onto for awhile, it's okay. I'll definitely subscribe! Thank you so much for the work you've put into this!
Great video. Your dog is adorable...gonna catch up on all your videos so this might be something youve already done...but if not...maybe put a camera on your dogs collar? Could make for some neat extra footage! Either way, great video!
Nice house. The reason that the piano looks different is because it’s actually an old pump organ. You have to move the food pedals to get sound out of it. Some also have a lever on the side that another person moves up and down to move the air through pipes inside. Such a shame that beautiful house sits abandoned. I’m sure the house and the land it’s on are still worth a fortune. Great chill out rooms on the top floor.
I am still at the intro and all I can say is "WOW" the house, the acreage, oh my word! Doing great videos. Be careful with the spinning and all is great! LOL, I have always had issues with 'vertigo'. Could not even ride rides at the fairs. You are fascinating to explore with. Thanks.
Well done on your first explore and you were right it was a Magpie. One bit of advice please take a mask with you as certain types of mold can cause respiratory problems.
Great explore, am new to the channel so doing a binge watch of your long form videos. Would like to have seen more videos in long form on your channel rather than the explores in shorts format. Thanks for this video.
I have a lot of long form content pre filmed and it’s the type of content I enjoy most, so definitely lots to come 🙌🏻 my shorts format videos on here are mostly just old TikTok videos from before I even had my UA-cam channel😂
Vandals maybe got caught at the kitchen & stopped & you were not minding your own business, you could get caught & accused of vandalism. Be careful there’s dangerous mold & rotted floors. Hopefully vandals don’t see this & decide to go wreck this place. Most of us never get to see these places except for guys like you. I’m glad you posted but this is so dangerous for you & your dog.
Owen Those TVs are called TUBE TV. not Fat tvs. Clearly Decay is beautiful done by Mother Nature not Humans. The fire you can see its still black in some places.Rather pretty good condition even after it was redone.Oh the Likes please try not to say that word so much? Respect your friend Barbara
I’m not too sure, could be a multitude of reasons but for here and other hotel type places it’s often that it was planned to close for a short time only, and then just didn’t reopen - especially for here with it’s dated furniture it probably wasn’t of much value anyway
Exploring in Ireland is always a hit, but the narration with your voice and accent makes it that much better. :D
Beautiful old house, thank you.
Great video like how you video the country side too thanks again can’t wait for your next video
Thanks! The Irish countryside is too good not to share 👌
Very nice. Thank you for sharing that beautiful old building. Love the doggie I thought at first he was a stuffed dog but than he moved.

you did a fine job! Some explorers that i have watched dont talk at all. I could listen to you all day. I love your accent..

Amazing fantastic first explore well done you did I see a cat when you saw the badger tail up teetering round the corner

Fking hell! There’s something about taxidermy that creeps me out, even worse in abandoned places like this
Especially when they’re just hiding around corners😅
You're a profesh at it Owen! 🥰🙌
Great, good luck!

Wow what a brilliant idea, would be so nice to see the world how she sees it 😁
love
Great video! What an interesting spot. Think Jamie and Jordan did this also recently. Love seeing good Irish explores!
My grandparents were from Ireland and came to the United States in 1924 a 100 years ago. Ireland is gorgeous ❤
Isn’t it just, I love this lil island❤️
But how are we feeling about this dining room ? Like I'm not sure .....you know like ? 😜🤙🏻❤️ Your voice over makes these videos ! 😛
I really appreciate that! I love the red dining room, something very formal about it🤩
Deadly Owen!! So proud of ye!! 💙😁😁

Ah that makes sense thankyou😁 I agree it’s a really good spot with so much potential, especially with the views over the lakes
Doing a great job just càme across your channel ✨☘️
Thankyou🙌🏻
Nicely done sir
Great video watching from canada 🇨🇦
Thankyou sir💪🏻

Thanks so much, my new camera gimbal is better at combatting those sharp movements you’ll be glad to hear😂 really appreciate your support
Great job on your first video!
Thank you!!
That piano is actually an organ!
I should’ve known! Thankyou🙌🏻
Piano sure looks like an organ to me👍
Well done on your first explore and you were right it was a Magpie. One bit of advice please take a mask with you as certain types of mold can cause respiratory problems.
Agreed, I really should mask up more😷 thanks for your support and the great advice :)

Man I know your knew but are yea going doing whole of Ireland if u are il be looking forward to your next few video's👍
I sure am! I’ll have videos from coast to coast all over this beautiful island 🔥
@@owenmcnutt That's the job man il be looking forward to it lad👍
Great place. Think you’ll have to get used to spiders if you keep exploring! Good job, thanks…
I think so too😂 thanks❤️
The house has great bones and the setting is great. However I think the decor in the hotel would have been awful. Interesting tour. Thank you.
Me too, the decor would’ve been considered so dated when it was open! Hopefully the prices were on par with the room decor 😂
Good job! Was that a leprechaun at 8:15?

Never ceases to amaze me how incredibly cheap property in Ireland is
We here in Ireland would beg to differ 😆 believe it or not we’re in a crisis actually

Little white cards with numbers one through ten here and there make me think it was a crime scene
i’d like to confirm, that actually was a pigeon not a magpie
😂 love it
Yes, it's a magpie 😅
I’m sure glad it wasn’t a pigoen then🤣
Foot pump organ not a piano
Why do they leave everything behind?
I’m not too sure, could be a multitude of reasons but for here and other hotel type places it’s often that it was planned to close for a short time only, and then just didn’t reopen - especially for here with it’s dated furniture it probably wasn’t of much value anyway
Realtor how much you being paid
I wish I was being paid😂
