    The yellow blob is a fungus commonly called Witch’s Butter. I’ve been having a lot of trouble with coughing outdoors, too, this spring...not my usual allergic reaction. Kinda weird...thanks for sharing your forest adventures!

    Smoke some Mullein leaf for your cough. It works amazing on most respiratory problems and helps you sleep. I know smoking to get rid of a cough sounds counter-intuitive but it works. It's the plant that has big soft fuzzy leaves you can use for TP and one tall stalk with yellow flowers at the top that can be used for earaches. Just don't consume the seeds they're toxic. Hope this helps.

    you ever try dowsing? works for me, detecting since 72. dowse the aerial map 1st, then on site. after checking the "x" marks the spots then I do the rest of the yards/area. I talk to the rod like its a dog "wheres the silver/gold/lot/goods. it sure is an aid and not a hindrance. like your coin spill in the creek...wow!

      Texas here. This is the worst allergy year I can remember. It seems everyone is coughing and sniffing. But, outdoors we’re also plagued with chiggers, little, tiny, red bugs that will make you itch. Not as bad poison ivy and oak, but chiggers will make you scratch. Additionally, we have ticks that can carry Lyme Disease, mosquitoes that carry a multitude of diseases, wasps, yellow jackets, killer bees, scorpions, Black Widow spiders, several other venomous insects, and several species of venomous snakes. If you’re from Australia, you’re probably laughing. But, there’s nothing like the sound of a rattlesnake to sober you up.

    Have you ever tried a product called, "CALM"? It is magnesium powder and it really helps with the allergies. I put a 1/4 teaspoon or more in 8 oz of water in my water bottle and drink it whenever I feel choked up. The stuff works in seconds to relieve my breathing. I don't go anywhere without it and it has helped my asthma tremendously. You can order it from Amazon if you can't find it in your local health food store. It comes in large containers as well as individual packets. I carry the individual packets with me at all times, and have given them out to people when I see them wheezing like you two are doing. It sure helps keep the misery at bay.

    • @clivewarren780
      @clivewarren780 6 років тому +1

      Is there only one brand of the stuff? Natural vitality or something like that? I want to buy the right stuff since you made it sound so nice lol

    • @lesahanners5057
      @lesahanners5057 6 років тому +3

      Clive Warren The stuff I use is Natural Vitality, I haven't used any other product, so can't say anything about them. I did see a product called Zen but it wasn't the same. It had too much other junk in it which I couldn't take. To answer the other person who was surprised strangers would use something I gave them. The stuff comes in sealed, labeled, individual tamper proof packets. I'm not handing out white powder in baggies. LOL So yes, people have taken it and used it. I have been carrying this product now for about ten years and it has literally saved my life on more than one ocassion. I am severely allergic to benydryl and epi-pin, so this has been my only option, when having an asthma attack. Each time I have had an allergic reaction, it cleared my swelled throat in seconds and helped me breath freely again. I do not normally endorse products, nor do I claim to be a medical doctor, but the guys sounded so miserable I wanted to tell them about this product I use in case they hadn't heard of it, in hopes it would be of some help.
