I just finished this one and LOVED it. Not many books can get tears out of me but those last few chapters got at my heartstrings😭.I think it might be one of my faves now along with So this is love and Go the Distance.
Me too. I was sitting on my couch at the end in literal tears. I experienced the heartbreak Tiana goes through in my own life as well. Just trying not to spoil it!
Although I am not enough of a Disney fan to fully understand these vlogs I will say I love how excited you get when you read the twisted tales books and im so happy you loved this one! This vlog in particular was so fun because I feel like you really hit the nail on the head with the mix between B Roll and talking 🥰 Also it was so interesting to me to see that author be talked about for something other than her romance books.

101 Dalmatians I'd read. "What If Cruella De Vil raised Pongo and Perdy" would be a good scenario, who'd you say? Aristocats, I'd also make it a short story. "A Twisted Tale Anthology 2" I'd do it for. "What If Edger Balthazar Inherited The Money" would be a good scenario
Thanks for sharing! I'm glad you liked it. I just finished it and I loved it too! This one and As Old as Time (Beauty and the Beast) are my favorite Twisted tales books of what I've read so far. Also. . . I also have the same bookmark! And I noticed you paired the Rapunzel stained glass bookmark like that one with it when you did What Once Was Mine (that one and Go the Distance are the others in my top 4). I've been doing it with most of these books as I read them. . . Spiranthes Treasures, where they come from, is a great shop!

I was gonna get that book but wasn't sure if it have the same book but with a Barnes And Noble Exclusive bonus chapter. Thankfully, it didn't because now I'm gonna get it
Great video. I also love Princess and the frog and think I might have to read this one. ☺ I only ever tried reading the twisted tales for Aladdin and I wasn't sure about it, but after hearing your opinion on this, I think I am also gonna like it 🐸🍲

If you love The Princess and the Frog, I'm sure you'll enjoy Almost There! A Whole New World (Aladdin Twisted Tale) is one of my least favorite in the series 😬 There are many other great (better) ones in the series!
I wonder if you’d recommend the twisted tales series above the villains series or the other way around? Gotta say both their cover styles make them very tempting (yes I choose books by covers most of the time thank you 😂)

haha, covers are also a big factor for me when I choose my books! 😉 Overall, the two series are pretty equal in my mind! I'd say it depends what you're looking for. If you want something with the same vibe as the OG Disney movies, go with the Twisted Tales. A litlte bonus is that you can read the books out of order,. as they are all standalones (so you can also skip the ones you're not interested it). But if you're into darker fairytales (so the material the Disney films were inspired by), the Villains series are going to be right up your alley! However, you're in for quite a long series, and the books have to be read in order for the storyline to make sense.
I got this book for my sister this Christmas since Tiana is her favorite Disney princess and it is taking everything I have to not give it to her before Christmas

I didn’ realize FR had another book with Disney coming out, yay! I love her books and this one didn’t disappoint.
I'm pretty sure she signed a 2-book contract with Disney! I'm also excited to see what else she comes up with.
