Anti-materiel rifle is just classic 50 cal sniper so it can take down light or (sometimes) medium armored enemies so yeah, for example in Helldivers you can destroy tank's threads and engine effectively immobilising it as you would irl (but in hd2 destroying the engine just makes the tank explode)

@@AlenB29 well, maybe not modern ones, but pretty sure AMR is the same principle as ww1-2 anti tank rifles that was designed to immobilize tanks
In my experience, recon makes a big difference in survival even when not stealthing. Way less stuff aggros, and theres a lot less getting gunned down randomly by stuff I didnt notice

Another great thing about the AMR against bots is that it kills Rocket Striders with a single shot if you shoot their engine block(..the crotch).
Its less useful against the unarmored Striders with a driver since all you do is take out the Strider while the driver pops out alive so against those I would advice spending 2 shots to the upper front plate, that destroys both the Strider and the driver.
Fun fact you can pen and destroy a factory strider with the AMR if you shoot the belly
4:15 My guess is it’s very high end armor piercing rounds, that go so fast and strong they tear through any material.
Ah yes the AMR, good weapon. I use it as my main, that and the R-63CS.

I have been using scout armor for everything since I learned that I can be 16 feet away and not alert the enemy. Its better against the bugs but still fun against bots. I am the teammate that completes all side quests and grabs all super creds and samples for the squad. I prefer the medium scout armor
I use some kind of drip like that too!! Except I use a faceless character makes my marksman class seem classy like Zero from borderlands

You could've just take out that factory strider with AMR to the eye or head in general since armor was already blown up by thermites or just shoot its belly

Idk why but for me the sniper scopes are just a garbage blurry mess, but a good tip is to always leave 1 bullet in the chamber for like a 2x faster reload.
I should start doing that more often
In the graphics settings, turn off Depth of Field to get rid of the blur.
@@KillFrenzy96 I've disabled it since day 1 of playing the game its not that, ive basically gone through every single setting there is and nothing feels like it gets fixed.
@@aarepelaa1142 The only thing I can think of is clearing the shader cache. It's in the AppData somewhere in a Arrowhead Helldivers folder.
@@KillFrenzy96 yeah dunno if that would fix it as the scope isn't always blurry its usually when there's more enemies and stuff on screen and just spamming first person view its not blurry like once every 6 tries or something.

Just so we are clear, super earth is the space nazis. And i enjoy every bit of spreading democracy in their name. TECHNICALLY the bots are just fighting for their libery ahahah

How do you throw gas at at strategem jammer of your strategems are jammed 😂
You never played Bots?
When you get to the stage where you can finally call the hellbomb in, you can blow up Jammer with strat instead ... 500KG, OP Strike, Gas strike etc. This way you don't have to wait on the Hellbomb
@kennethrobinson5111 yall are So ridiculous 😂 "didn't you know I could use a strat slot for utility to avoid using a hellbomb!?!?!?!" 😅😂. Congrats on saving your however many seconds.
@BarnacleBob-fy7bo you don't play Bots at all dude. Keep exposing yourself. waiting 8 seconds for a Hellbomb on a jammer is a lifetime, Bots could be dropping on your head. Stick to watching videos noob.
Disable the Jammer, then call a gas strike right on top of it, then profit
You should try the Explosive Crossbow in combination with the ballistic shield and Quasar cannon
The crossbow can destroy Factorys and also 1 shots devastators if you can aim, otherwise it's 2 shots. 1 Quasar shot immediately followed up by 1 arrow destroys the cannons. Eagle Airstrike and any sentry. I always get most kills when I play with this loadout and most of the time least deaths 😂🎉
I see so many talk about the crossbow in general, and what's sold me on it is the gunship destroying power
@@Blueghost136 Yesterday a glitch occurred, and I got 27 kills with one crossbow arrow 😂 What I like is the explosion 💥 Radius and the fact that you can one shot the chicken walkers
And one shot devestators if you hit their face, but that's kinda hard. Just this combination of Firepower and Cover with the Ballistic shield, ist what made Bots playable for me again 😄
