My 8-year-old son comforting our two rescue eastern grey kangaroos whilst they have a play outside. Both Joeys' mums were hit by cars and died, so we raise them up to be released when they are a certain weight. These guys are Dudley and Valerie

Its not always how were raised. Some people are just naturally built different. I remember my dad was very cruel to animals and he did not raise me to be gentle with animals. But i always was since inwas a little boy. So lets give the boy props, not how we was raised
Sadly that would mean that he will get his heart broken and his world view shattered by a western woman... Otherwise, I hope that he keeps being this way towards animals

The fact that the baby Kangaroo wanted a hug is precious. I've pet a Kangaroo before, and it was amazing. Scratch that off the bucket list.
I think he just wanted a pouch to get in, it's still a baby... If you take any bag and put it at bottom of your stomach, in front of little kangaroo, he would jump in immediately

Something like natural bag under a female kangaroo's belly, for caring babies, some species have them, like koalas, opossums, wombats etc..
This young man will make an excellent father when he is older. He is astute to another species and reduces his tone as people do to infants. Good luck young man, you remind me of my sons when they were at your age.

A lot of kids have terrible parents and/or neighbors.
I was a prick to animals when I was young. I remember I would grab my cats by the tail or try and touch there eyes. The cats ended up giving me some scratches as a lesson lol. I was between 3 and 4 at the time.

Reminds me of my daughter. I only had to reprimand her once when she was 2 years old and showed her the right way to pick up and pet a cat. She has been kind and gentle with all animals ever since.

I wanna hug the child, but I’m sure it’d be weird. Funny how we feel it’s just fine to scoop up baby critters and hug them, while marking human little ones as a bad idea. I get why, and it’s valid.

At JM & Christian Boulay Exactly What I was thinking! He has that essential, magical, caring sensitivity & touch that brings the same sweetness right out In the baby animals he shares loving tenderness with.
We always wish to see a host of animal TV shows with those qualities, but rarely have ever seen 1 or 2 with somewhat near such qualities. If he was enabled to show that kind of tenderness even just to these 2 joeys until forming a similar relationship with any other baby animals, as star of a weekly baby animal show, it would be an instant worldwide success. He already has the best touch with animals I've ever seen and deserves to be the leader, showing the other animal show host wannabes how to do it. He's already the world's best expert at baby animal handling. He and his animals will be just as sweet when they get older! 😄
The best animal show handlers I've seen so far, was 1. An older Australian star of an Australian Animal show, only airing for a short time on a new, temporary Time Warner Cable channel called "4K" channel, who displayed a loving compassionate touch for all animals out in the wild, that instantly permeated the animals he would pick up, allowing a friendly exchange, and then he would put them back in the exact place and direction he picked them up from.
2. Was a female Tasmanian Devil expert, in charge of a Tasmanian Devil Sanctuary in Australia, who had that kind of loving permeating touch, whether with babies she was raising or full grown wild males she trapped, handled, tested & released.
3. Was Jack Hanna's wife, Susan Hanna, whose equally loving and compassionate
Or an animal handler, or even rescuer since veterinarian isn't really for many people since its could be a mentally and emotionally hurtful job for those that have a big love for animals

Animals can make huge changes in kids personality, making them more kind and filling them with goodness, unfortunately I didn't have that chance but my children in future will for sure have that chance.❤🇮🇳
