what youre playing on guitar: your hands dont match up with what is being played. there's 2 lots of E > D riffing yet the second time your hands move down to the 3rd fret. it looks mimed.

its because a delay pedal is used in this song, as well as most of the songs on this album
I suggest looking up what delay pedals are and what they do. Then I recommend looking at how Jonny uses them on these Smile records.
