Thankyou David. I feel a bit overwhelmed by Notion in terms of where to start. This will help. I like how you have kept the video relatively short but informative. Looking forward to more.
I’ve been using Notion on and off for the better part of a year and never stick to it because I’m overwhelmed by how complicated simple systems seem to be at times. Your notion content is some of the best out there. Thank you for creating these videos David!
Seriously, I wish I had started using notion a bit earlier. With my academic workload and the learning curve of notion, I just couldn’t get on the bandwagon. Now that I have started using it, I can’t wait to explore more and dive deeper. Your videos are helping me a lot, especially, the one with 3 essential page to start notion video. Thank you so much. Quality videos, keep them coming!!!
This is a great process! :) I’ve been a little overwhelmed in how to get started taking notes on what I read, and this really helped. Thanks so much for sharing!
I used to think that because someone's subscriber count is low, I wouldn't really like their content because of the quality. But WOW if I didn't look at your subscriber count I would assume it would be in the hundred thousands! Keep working your hard work will pay off!
I just finished the book last week and have been using notion to track my notes. Thanks for sharing your workflow. Definitely going to take some things away and implement.
I keep track of the books I read in GoodReads, well sometimes I forget, but I can see how useful it can be to track them with Notion. I've read the first book of series many years ago and I can't remember the title. Looking for it on GoodReads is quite tedious, and still couldn't find it. I didn't know you could export notes in Kindle, so I learned something. Thank you.
Hey thank you so much for your video and links! greatly appreciated. Sometimes Notion templates are presented to its maker like a tv commercial it seems just amazing and wanna use it. This video is bookmarked I'll drop youa comment later if I end up using your method (really tempting)
Thanks for the feedback! I read a great book recently that’s helped me in my HR role, I discuss it in this video ua-cam.com/video/vlDRy6zTpGc/v-deo.html
Love the video! I also read my books on my Kindle and I love the idea of highlighting and keeping track of the notes in either the Kindle app or in Good Notes. Would you be able to share your book review template in Notion?
Hello! I'm in awe with your template that you use to record your books. I'm just starting to use notion myself so I'm quite clueless about how to start honestly 😅 so if it's not too much of a problem, could I ask for you to share the link to your template so that I can copy and use it for my own book-recording activity?

Thanks! If I'm reading a hard copy book, I take notes on my iPad in the Goodnotes app. Obviously a notebook would do just fine. I'll then summarise these notes in my book review template in Notion.
Hey, I notice that you have that relation option with the weekly agenda. I also watched that video you recently posts about them. How do you make your weekly tasks based on the books you read?
Great video.I'm new to Notion - Is the Book Review a different database to your Book Reading List or do you put the review on the same page of your Book Reading list?
I just build out my learning center in Notion for Podcasts, books, and other media. I'm already seeing a shift in what I can consume and keep track of.
Hi David, you can link directly Notion with your entire Kindle library and it will automatically import all your highlights. For this you need to use ReadWise readwise.io/
You dont have to say every time my "Ipad Pro", my "Ipad" will just be fine, even though it is just a tablet. nobody cares what model do you have, and you don't crave to show off, or do you? This comment is for the whole apple community.
Great content - but the music behind is terrible and very very disturbing. I had to stop 3 times because of this .. just my personal feel .. sorry - all other is very Interisting - helping and inspiring. Thanks
I respectfully agree with Christian here (hm... fellow musician..), the music needs to be 1) quieter than now, 2) suitable to the content. Please think from your own perspective. What would you like to hear if you'd watched one of your videos? Is the chosen music supporting the rhythm of your talking, the kind of content you're talking about? And most importantly, the volume. Search on YT, there is ton of content on how to measure the voice/music ratios so that it's pleasing. Not to mention that your viewers can suffer from Tinitus or other conditions that make the music distrurbing. I myself have trouble in distinguishing the speech from music if that ratio is not good. In _my_ opinion only, but hey, you don't want us to leave because of that, do you? Please take this as a very well meaning criticism, I'd wish you all the success on YT, hell, I subscribed already, just trying to help.
@@jakecunningham2464 I'm sure it's got nothing to do with you fine headphones. The issue is with _me_ and others who do have problems with hearing. I've been a touring musician for 25+ years and that was in the 80's when noone thought about protection. Now every kid in the garage band carries earplugs which is great. But I developed Tinitus and have difficulties listening. Sometimes it's hard to distinguish speech from music, when two persons are talking at the same time, sometimes it's a frequency somewhere that causes pain in the "brain", man, it's hell sometimes. I have a musician colleague who just clicks away as soon as something like this happens, he doesn't have the patience and energy. I do and I can sometimes divide a video into chunks and watch it at different times. Oh well... What I meant is that UA-camrs need to think of non 100% healthy viewers, just like when we build sidewalks adapted to that small percentage of people in wheel chairs. I do hope you get my point and it's not nagging, just saying that the YT content needs to be inclusive in every way. Thanks again David for good content :-)!
I’m not sure why it matters what you are listening with LOL I’ve got one AirPod in LOL. I personally do not like the music either, I would rather just hear you David. Thanks again for such great content though!
