Brian Howe brought the band back from the dead after Paul Rogers decided to go off & do his own thing with several different bands. This whole album kicked ass!
@@nomasker1360 I think It depends on your age and what decade of rock you grew up listening to , I'm a 70's rock fan at my age and you are probably a 80's fan (which I do also like).
@@ralphfiligenzi6180Well I was around when Bad Company had their hits in the mid 70s and then w/ Brian Howe. I thought both were f'in great. Many good memories to their music.
I grew up listening to Bad Co. in the 70's (my teenage years)....hot rods, drive ins, concerts...thanks for the trip down memory lane....Asia and BJ keep up the good work, I truly enjoy your perspective.
Thanks for taking a shot at the Brian Howe version of Bad Co, he kept the fires burning while Paul Rodgers was off doing other things. Holy Water is an kick butt song. They also do a great version of this band's signature song, Bad Company, but instead of Paul Rodgers piano leads we see Mick Ralph's really take over, hear his blistering solo on their live album from the 80s and see how great this band was. Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎹🎶
Like some of the other comments, finally glad to see somebody get to the Brian Howe era of Bad Company. My wife and I met him years ago after they had an outdoor show in Reno NV. We were in a sports bar/lounge at the casino where the concert was held. We started talking to him about everything but music. After about an hour he said he had to go and it was nice meeting the two of you. Very down-to-earth guy. RIP If you do them again, I would suggest "How About That" and "If You Needed Somebody".
This version of 'Bad Company' was from the late 80's into the early or mid 90's. With Brian Howe. The original band was with Paul Rogers on lead vocals...
I think, R.I.P. Paul Kossof, would be proud to see his legacy live on in Bad Company. Free were a great band and Bad Company followed suit with equal intensity. Thanks for sharing and best wishes @all from hamburg (germany)
When I saw Bad Co The opening song was Bad Company and they lowered Paul Rodgers down from the ceiling and onto his Piano bench .....Just an amazing concert!
The late great Brian Howe on vocals. I loved Paul Rodgers but the whole Holy Water album is my favorite Bad Company album. Brian was an excellent choice of a replacement. Solo he performed a lot of his Bad Company tunes right up to his passing. Amazing vocalist,Amazing band.
I saw Paul Rogers with Neal Schon at the 99 club in Seattle during the muddy Waters tribute tour. They played all the bad company greats... Went backstage with them and found Paul to be a very nice guy.
Awesome man, that tribute album is a treasure, with so many great guest guitarists taking a shot at some great Muddy Waters tunes. I envy you but I did see Paul in double figures between Bad Co, The Firm and a few solo shows, that man never lets you down. Brian was a fine stand in for a while, got to see that version a couple times as well. Rock On!
My ex-wife and I would put this song on repeat and have lots of "fun". Every time I hear it now, I get the urge to call her. This is a great song from a later version of Bad Company.
Asia & BJ, you’ll love their “Silver Blue & Gold”, “Can’t Get Enough” and “Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy”!!! "Silver Blue & Gold is on the softer side, so good!
Bad Company concerts? Sure, 6 times with Paul Rodgers and twice with Brian Howe. Awesome show every time, at the highest level of rock musicianship for what is often, fairly straight ahead rock but with a style, sound and vocal excellence that will never let you down. Want to perk up a party? Put some Bad Co on. Yeah! 🔈🔉🔊
I saw bad company many times with Paul Rogers , Brian Howe and Robert Hart singing for them they all sounded great they can cover all Bad Company songs perfectly. You can't go wrong with any Bad Company songs they are one of the best.
Brian Howe is the singer of Holy Water! Prior lead singer was Paul Rodgers. You are talking about Mick Ralphs as the lead guitar. Saw them in concert in 1977, it was awesome!! Burning Sky.
I really loved watching you guys listen to this song. You're both adorable. I'm a lead singer and the lead singer of Bad Company is my absolute favorite male vocalist of all time. I could listen to him all day everyday. He makes this band epic. Love y'all
It's almost impossible to catch lightning in a bottle, Bad Company did it twice, first with Paul Rodgers then with Brian Howe, both incredible vocalists in their own ways
Bad Company started in 1974 (I think) and I saw them live in 1976 with Kansas as an opening band. I saw them again in 2009 when Paul Rodgers returned and this time the Doobie Brothers were the opening band. Rodgers still sounds great today and I did not see them live with Howe. I believe Howe may have passed away not to long ago, but I am not sure.
The Firm was me and my circles favorite band at the time. Saw Rogers and Page together on the British Invasion tour and then they created The Firm. The Firm was great live.
Great song off a great album. I'm back hot off my retirement last friday. I'm glad you finally got to hear this song and I knew you'd dig it. I was in Saudi Arabia for Desert Storm when I first heard this album. Great stuff. I enjoy all of your content. F.O.E. Keep up the good work. Steve
