Damn to have a day like That!!! Thats why we all Watch and learn.
Love those quite morning bites!
Pomp is a “bucket list” fish for me! haha well I know that they aren’t rare by any means. Just in my neck of the woods in TX coast they are a bit less prevalent. More prevalent the further south on the coast you go. Seen so many great videos though and people touting their deliciousness!
Hope you catch one soon! Tight lines 🤘
I can almost smell that Pompano cooking through my screen!
Great video Justin. I've been catching everything as deep as I can reach. I'm switching to cut bait this weekend to target redfish.
Most of mine have been caught just past the breakers over the last week. (50-70 yards). Good luck with the cut bait!
big fish sir. good video
Appreciate it!
You should do a clinic on surf rod casting 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Not a bad idea. It really is all about technique.
Man, if I don’t get some pompano this year I’m selling all my gear 😗. Love the catch and cooks, Justin.
You planning a trip anytime soon? Bite is good right now. Hope you get on some when you come.
@@JustinReedFishing Nah, not until spring. Leave some for me lol.

My younger brother and I used to surf fish withour dad back in the 70's on Mustang Island in Texas. We always waded our past the 2nd sand bar and stayed there. Were we just stupid to stay in the water? I ask because you are always on the beach.
Nothing wrong with walking in the water to cast. I can cast 120 yards so I am able to get it out pretty far if needed. The water here in most places gets deep really quick (3-4') even right of shore it can be 3 feet deep. The sandbar is usually about 50 yards from shore so I am able to fish both sides of it from the beach. I get in the water sometimes to cast but it is rare.

We didn't have the quality of rods that you use so the only way to get it out that far was to wade out to the second sand bar.
What’s the weather like? It’s been getting colder here in the Canaveral area, especially in the morning!
It's cooling off and the fishing is getting better and better. Good luck out there!
Just found your Channel. Where are you located? White sand says emerald coast somewhere
You got it right Pensacola/Navarre Beach area.
