Stunning Hike Near Funchal - Ponta do São Lourenço - PR8

Today we’re hiking the Ponta do Sao Lourenco, a scenic headland located on the easternmost point of Madeira Island in Portugal. Its rugged terrain, dramatic sea cliffs, and stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean should be enough to lure you here. And in this video we’ll show you why you don’t want to miss this hike.
Because of its proximity to Funchal and the Airport, this is a perfect hike to start your Madeira trip. We headed there directly from the airport in our rental car, a 20 minute drive, but buses and taxis are available too.
