- Is the PR8 São Lourenço hiking trail the easiest hike in Madeira, and is it worth doing?
In this video I show what the trails are like, some breathtaking viewpoints, even uncover a Star Wars filming location! We share our honest experiences along the way - even a scary moment we wouldn’t want to relive. We also take a boat trip to see the inaccessible lighthouse at the end of the island. At the end we also make a quick stop at Pico do Arieiro to see whether the peak to peak PR1 trail should be our next hike.
