Not gonna lie, I've been really sad about losing my length, even though it's clear that my hair looks WAY better. (Why are we so obsessed with length??) Its so amazing to see stylists that actually KNOW curly hair and its needs. i am so sick of hair salons where I stay who do the same haircuts and same hairstyling for ALL hair types. I need a rezocut so bad but legit no one knows how to do it here and I would never risk getting a bad haircut especially after I have invested so much time, effort and energy on keeping my hair the way it is. :((

WOW! STUNNING!! 😍 I love how it turned out! So fascinating with how they cut it. I recently cut off a lot as well to make my very low density hair thicker on the ends and blend better. Can’t wait to see how yours grows out now 😍
So, basically she just cut out the longer layers and made more of a short stepped layering affect in the hair. Very nice. Imma try that as my hair grows. My hair is extremely thin and brittle, but very curly. The longer layering really doesn’t help in retaining volume and definition for thin curly hair as it grows out. It makes it look very see thruish and the density just disappears. Loved the cut and the results! 😍🥰😘
I had been getting my hair cut by a Devacurl stylist. Nice guy, etc. but during the pandemic, we had our former stylist cut my families hair on the porch. Before he came over, i was looking at my hair and it was piece-y at each curl. Like her hair in the beginning. Well my former stylist has cut hair for over 50 years and really gave me a normal cut. And showed me how wonky my hair was from the curl by curl cut. Not going back to Devacurl. And I had issues with my curl just leaving and getting frizzy. Argh! I appreciate you showing this cut and look forward to your Devacurl video.

Wow! Your hair looks great! I had a Devacut last year but I could never afford the Devacurl products so I have only been using drugstore products. I got a Dyson last month and got heavy blonde highlights at the beginning of this month. No haircut though! I’ve never had an Olaplex treatment on my hair either! Are Rezocuts expensive? That whole process was so cool!

Yes, I experienced the same hair loss using DevaCurl. Happy to say that over 1.5 years w/out DC I am now getting back to healthy hair.

When you get a CUrl by curl cut you do not have a strong even perimeter so as the hair grows out it gets thin and spacey!
