  • Way back before I was mannfishh I used to make these JI videos to sing along to. I thought they were useful, what do you think? Should I make them for more scales? Does anyone actually use these ear training videos?
Really the tempo should be like.. much slower so you can really have a chance to lock in. But I didnt want to go there.. YET. maybe someday.
Also hopefully you're cool with this moveable-Do solfeg. Thats just how I do it!

As a band teacher teaching my students Just Intonation, I would pay money to get this exact video in all 12 major keys.

A simple major scale has never sounded this epic before.

Aside from being totally interesting and very helpful educationally, singing along makes me feel as if I am experiencing the Final Harvest, the heavens opening up 😌 hehe

where the DUCK did you learn sound design from, the instrumentals you come up with to showcase these harmonies sound peculiarly awesome!

a lot of it is just the tuning! i dont want to overgeneralize but just intonation reinforces the harmonics of sound, it's just as much a timbral thing as a harmony thing

Don’t have enough breath to sing each rising/lowering part. 😞 Or to breathe in and out in time.

I love these videos! I learned a lot from the overtone ear training and now I hear sine waves everywhere. And I just learned that I lack acoustic understanding of the just sixth, that's something to train! Thank you very much. Keep up the great work.

Bro where was this when i was learning music for the first time this way faster than having to play with other people

playing with other people is really important too!!! learning to adjust to them, etc, it teaches you skills you can't learn on your own. but this is at least a stable and reliable reference, which other people aren't always
