  • Hello UA-cam
    Homebrewing is great but the cleaning and sterilising of bottles is time consuming so I got some 5l mini kegs like these;
    www.ebay.co.uk...
    Also on Amazon here;

    Please note these are affiliate links and I may earn from qualifying purchases on them but you will not be charged any extra, I have not been paid to review this product
    Even better buy one from the shops already full of beer then reuse that one for free! 🍻
    I'd love to hear what you guys thought so please leave a comment or a thumbs up and if you liked and maybe you'd consider subscribing

    Love this idea... going to try repurposing some minikegs for a future homebrew project. Great vid! Subscribed and looking forward to more.

    Prising the bung out with a screwdriver scratches the coating off the can, this will then rust. Try using something that won’t scratch, warming the rubber bung first with hot water also helps.

    Don`t you need to add a few psi of c02 ?

      Add 15g of sugar when you're filling them and the yeast in your beer will produce the carbon dioxide for you
      I have seen taps on amazon that fit on the top where you can add carbon dioxide capsules for forced carbonation if that's the way you want to go

    Do you buy these already empty from ebay?

      I did with these which is why they're plain steel there's a link in the description for them on amazon mate
      But you can reuse ones you buy from the shops once you've drunk the beer in them in the same way 😉
