Implicit travel tip: don't tell your fans the exact time you're going to Muay Thai camp so they can't travel to Thailand to challenge you in person and you don't have to beat them up. Smart.
Yes, that's honestly exactly what I always do. I never tell when I am leaving anywhere. It's actually one of the safety tips I always try to tell anyone. Furthermore, I never post pictures or videos on social media when I am traveling. Not necessarily because I am afraid to meet anyone, but rather because I don't want anyone to know that no one is at home.
Regarding neck pillow, I just recently discovered from Reddit that you can buy a generic one like Cabeau, which consists of the inner foam and the outside cover, take out the inner foam, fill the outside cover with soft clothes, so it becomes a 2-in-1 packing cube and neck pillow. Just an alternative to your blanket trick 😁
Interesting to hear your thought processes for trip packing. Enjoy your trip for martial arts! I recently travelled in Europe and chose an Orange eSIM and deactivated the main sim before takeoff. It worked well to help mapping around our hotels and being able to keep in touch with family.
Hey Bo :) Love these kind of solo podcasts, it let us peak into your mind at the present moment ! For your water filtration question : you have Lark bottles with UV treatment (and the last one they created with a filter), you also have Sawyer, HydraPak, and more but I'm more partial to LifeStraw as it doesn't require batteries, the filter block itself at the end of its life, it's more easy to buy replacement and it's used around the globe for humanitarian and military efforts :) Also just took the patreon, it's been a while I've been following you and now it's time for more support :)
Thank you very much for your support on Patreon. Really appreciate it. And thanks for the positive feedback. Happy to hear that you liked this episode. I was thinking about the lifestraw as well. But ist it only for filtering particles and not necessarily killing bacteria like the uv light does?
@@Youknowthebo The filters block "99.999999% of bacteria, 99.999% of parasites, 99.999% of microplastics, silt, sand and cloudines" from the spec sheet of Life Straw :) I like UV light but the water need prefiltering or you being sure about the provenance of it beforehand. So I think it more as second step in the filtration process
@@Youknowthebo The filter will block "99.999999% of bacteria, 99.999% of parasites, 99.999% of microplastics, silt, sand and cloudiness" from the LifeStraw specs sheet :) UV lights is good if the water is already prefiltered
You’re such an underrated content creator, I really enjoy to listen to these podcast type episodes while at school or working!
Wow. Thanks for the donation and the positive feedback. Happy to read that you enjoy my content
@@YouknowtheboOh btw could you do a podcast with someone at codeofbell like you did with bellroy and aer?
That would be pretty cool. Good idea. I will try to contact them and ask if they would be down.

@@polyl2357 that's pretty cool. Thanks for the information.
I like the idea of bottles with UV light. I haven't pulled the trigger though as like you I haven't traveled much in the last couple of years.
It's quite the investment, but I think it might be a good idea to invest in. I will probably buy one before leaving for the camp
First "LIKE" here! 😜
Thanks, JB. Appreciate it. Hope you are all well
