Honda is like the Apple phone of Cars, they do not give you every bell and whistle but people still buy them because they have a special feel and experience that people do not want to give up even if it is missing a few features
Love my car..made for those who understand an accord is a day to day reliable car with a small dose of luxury to it. Sure the back isnt all that great but its lowkey which i like
Great review. I bought a 2024 Meterorite gray Hybrid Touring and you told me things I didn't know about the car. I've had Honda's in the past and this car is really full of tech. I wasn't impressed with the Toyota Camry's looks, but the Accord won me over. I especially enjoyed seeing the underside of the car in your overall review, a place most reviews skip. Thanks!
I have seen this 11th gen accord and saw a 10th gen accord at night. For me, the 10th gen headlights looks more aggressive compared to the new one. I used to have a 2021 accord touring and I remember the headlight looks much sportier than the new ones.
As always the music and visuals are a vibe. For the Honda, I love the interior display and options for this trim, but the exterior is a no for me. Now if this interior design was on the prior years it would be *chefs kiss*
There is a lot to like but the cost cutting is obvious. No fog lights? I bought a 2016 Accord new and there was only one trim level that didn't have fog lights.
2024 Accord Tour - General - Display settings - mode only shows day mode. Cant find night mode. At night navigation stays in day mode any idea what happen to night mode. Should modes be automatic
Looks like there isn't a designated potential spot for fog lights. Do you think the LED's are so good on low beam (beam width, etc), that you don't need illumination closer to the elevation of the road? Seems like at least the Touring should have them, or at least as an option. Note also (not lighting related) that there is not a compact spare. Just the handy repair kit, which will be useless if you have a larger puncture. Not everyone lives in a metro area.
I noticed your maps (navigation) lights were in night mode, how do you do that? my navigation lights are always bright and seems they are set to day mode. I can't find to change it in the settings. can you please let me know how to. change it? thanks in advance
For those who don’t know; apparently the USA market got boned with this model’s interior since it lacks ambient lighting and other very cool features that the Chinese spec gets. Are we going to get that spec in the future as a mid cycle update? Who knows…
It's unfortunate that Honda removed puddle lights(which were an OEM accessory), ambient lighting(OEM accessory), door courtesy lights and fog lights on the New Accord.
Nice work, Mike! Hard to find this kind of detail, and most test drives are during daylight hours (which makers seem to count on). Do you know if you can dim the 12.3" display? Seems like some cars neglect that part. I am a bit underwhelmed with some of the corners they cut on the Touring. I paid a little more for the optional "puddle lights" on my 2014 Forester XT, and love them. I find it appalling that the Accord has nothing. My '98 Accord had "courtesy lights" on the lower panels of ALL 4 doors. They came on when the door opened. Feels like this should too. How as that low beam sharp cutoff? In concept the sharp cutoff sounds high tech, but in reality, in some applications, it is horrible. My '17 BRZ has a ridiculously sharp cutoff, and when you are approaching an uphill, you can't see anything. The road just seems to vanish. (The engineers who did this design should be fired.)
the headlights are pretty dim at night. theyre each separated into 3 groups on each side, two reflectors in each group. the low beam are the outer two groups while the center, the most direct, are only for the high beam. little to no visibility. the camera exposure does not equate to real-life driving.
I feel like I’m the only one who buys a car for the features and convenience they offer because I don’t understand how this touring model can be sold for 40k for basic features
It really disappoints when they don’t include a spare tire… Ive had pot hole incidents at least 3 times since owning my 17 accord sport and a spare tire saves u
The problems I find with the 2023-2024 Honda Accord Hybrid: 1. No All Wheel Drive is available 2. No heated steering Wheel is available 3. No spare tire is available 4. No XM Radio in vehicles sold in the USA (Available in Canada, If you can do it in Canada why not the US) . If a 2023 or 2024 car missing all of these features is fine for you, then get one. Hopefully, by the time 2025 comes around these deficiencies will be resolved. The lack of a spare tire is fatal deficiency in my opinion.
You have a Hybrid version? The catalogue says it is not available. Or do you live in Canada? Honda seems to feel that if you live in Canada it is cold all the time, but if you live over the border in Niagara Falls it is Tropical with Palm Trees.
It’s available, it’s just not included. You can get it as a package and dealer can install it later. No car is perfect. Sedans are dying breed, so no. Honda is not going to invest time and money on making AWD just to please you
@MikesCarInfo I wasn't saying you, I was watching the people in front of you at the roundabout. The car in front went really fast into it and didnt slow down, and then the white truck went really fast and had to stop instead of yield because of his speed and the speed of the person in front of you. Roundabouts dont work in USA because people dont know how to use them properly and are inconsiderate behind the wheel.
The Honda accord is a fantastic / reliable car. Wouldn’t it be great if they actually designed it with ANY style. The new accord is probably the ugliest car ever designed. Ugly as a mud fence
Disappointed with the new Accord's look. Seems big, ugly, boring and stupid looking compared to the 2021's sleek style. I was hoping for something even cooler this year, but it's just not there. Plus, it's expensive! I am extremely disappointed...!
Your night reviews are MUCH APPRECIATED, a cars LED lighting is *extremely important*
I subscribed for the simple fact that you show the cars at night. Lighting is so important to me on a vehicle
Honda is like the Apple phone of Cars, they do not give you every bell and whistle but people still buy them because they have a special feel and experience that people do not want to give up even if it is missing a few features

Ugly design fr 😅
not even ugly just kinda boring @@phoenix_yih
The only good thing of the 11th gen visual design
Makes it look like a volkswagen

This car is growing on me. Had my 2018 Camry SE for 6 yrs now. If I had to replace it i would definitely consider this.

This car shines for those who like simple but luxx designs. Its a honda not a benz,, bmw,, or audi..
I would like puddle lights but the IIHS rates the headlghts as some of the best. Very impressive.
New subscriber here. Love night car features to be highlighted by car reviewers. Keep it up.
I like the retro 80's movie style music at the end. Fitting with the looks of the car.
If i can get ambient lighting in this ill love it!! Ima buy this still i need it for amazon flex

kind of a bummer it got no ambient lightning. thanks for the detailed review man
Exactly my thoughts. It's a shame .. hopefully they add in 2025 model
8:19 it has "moon lights" as he called them.
@@tangerineman56those are standard. I meant like the ones in the Mercedes C, E, or S class cars
Do they put back to open your home garage ? Honda right now instead of going forward is going backwards
I really like the rear taillight turn signals. I'm researching how I got get those turn signals on my Sport.
I only like the touring. In Arizona we need ventilated seats. Too bad you can't get that in the Sport L.

Thanks for the great review, how would you rate the color? And what do you think is the best color on the Honda Accord Hybrid?
how does a touring model not have approach lights? my bmw is nearly 10 years old and has mirror/door handle lights. feel it should be standard
I wish they had put the volume knob somewhere near the shifter maybe. I think it ruins the clean look under the screen.
why did they remove the puddle lights? seems like cheap cost cutting measures
Where you put your phone to be charge there a light that stays on. Why does that light under the USSB port stays on?

How did you get the google maps into a night mode?! Please. For the life of me I cannot make mine go into the night mode
It goes into dark mode automatically as the headlights are turned on
does it detect the cars around as shown in the display at 12:42 ?
Yes, cars that are beside or in front of you.
How to show speed limit on the map here?

I get around 600 miles on a tank.

Since when are ventilated seats and a HUD considered "basic?"
I really wish they would redesign the front
just needs a facelift
Yes it does. Even a little chrome would help break up all that boring black plastic up front. Looks like a Taurus.
I hate how there is still no play/pause button on the steering wheel.
