I had bought version 1.0 a week ago in an online store here in Brazil and today version 2.0 arrived for me, I was happy in a way because I thought I had received something better but it seems to me that I am leaving at a loss. I ordered mine from Amazon about a month ago and thought it was version 1 since the text was blurry and the gaming response time was really good. Turns out I have Version 2 based on the box and the feet on the stand. 🤣 I guess V2 is a big step up from my older 1080P AOC gaming monitor and I couldn't imagine how blurry the text is on V1 if I think its blurry on V2.
You might want to check your ClearType settings, if using Windows. (Others vary - look for "Sub-Pixel AA" or stuff like "state of font rendering on Linux".)
@@AySz88 Thanks. I did go through the ClearType settings. It helped a little I think. I may have thought it would look closer to my phones which has a much higher DPI.

@@theincredibletildo Ive had it a little over a month and decided to keep it. I think I expected more clarity from 1440P text. I wrongly thought it would look like my phone or iPad. It doesn't, but when I reconnected my 1080P monitor the M27Q was definitely better for text clarity. I did do some tweaking in Windows that helped. For gaming its great too. The colors are a ton better than my old 1080P AOC gaming monitor and the 170hz is very fast and crisp. I don't see any ghosting when gaming at all. I am running a 2080TI with it.
Have you tried the m27q rev 1 and the m27q x? I am thinking of changing from the m27q to the m27q x, I have tried many OLEDs like the pg27aqdm and I did not like them, there is a big difference between m27q and m27q x?

Thanks for the video!! I just bought 2 monitors, the samsung odyssey g5 and this rev 2.0. I wonder which one will be better. VA has better contrast, black and grey uniformity and IPS has better response times, brightness and colours (also viewing angles but I skip that for obvious reasons).

I had a m27f which is a 1080 version of this. Wasn't impressed, couldn't fix the text clarity issue, but when I hooked up my Chromecast and streamed some anime oh man the colors. I wasn't even looking for that, just the initial impression was good. The m27q 2 is on my shortlist for my next monitor.

Although VA isn't a good choice if response times and viewing angles are things you care about and OLED isn't viable if you also display a lot of static content. Different technologies serve different audiences
@@snarlynx1 i have a VA Monitor with 3000 Contrast RAtio and no ips glow, after i tested 8 IPS Panels, they were all horrible, dont let be fooled by this mediocre technoology, contrast is the most important thing there is, you cant enjoy alan wake 2 on IPS Panel believe me
Personally speaking, I'd choose a high-quality 32" 4K multi-purpose monitor from Gigabyte instead (but I'm not a gamer, so I don't really have a need for a QHD display...)

I have version 2 for my Xbox Series X it’s the model I wanted because I thought it was better than version 1. Anyway I am very happy with it.

The chapters are wrong. I.e. Color accuracy is shown in the macOS Part.
