Thank you, this is the most rediculos radiator replacement is ever done. Your video helped me to keep my sanity (lol) I appreciate your work thank you. I don't know what the shop flat rate you be but it would probably cost anywhere from $600.00 to $850.00 easy
Just replaced the radiator in my 08 Expo today.....had been putting off for some time due to the removal of all the parts/pieces in the way of the radiator itself.....your video was very informative and help me quite a bit......complete job took approximately 4 hours from start to end.....Thanks my friend
Great video. It's the only one out there so thanks. Minor suggestion. I did not have to remove the headlights, air intake box, or the coolant reservoir. Everything else I did though. Also, the fan shroud comes off super easy once you figure out that the bottom of the shroud has a hinge on it that very easily allows the fan shroud to come out. Thanks again.
thanks a ton man, all the other videos required more steps and people that didn’t really know what they’re doing. i’m gonna be doing this job with my dad in a few days on my 2009
also, helps to spray lube onto grill at bottom to easily remove plastic tabs from bumper cover. I used penetrating oil and a painters knife. before the oil it was impossible for me to just get the grill off. from there, your instructions were spot on!. Thanks again.
Had my radiator replaced a few months ago. I'm starting to see a slow leak of transmission fluid on the right side of radiator. Under power steering fluid and air filter area. Can anyone point to where the trans connects to radiator?
Sorry that now is when I reply to you. The projects always seem bigger than what they are until you start doing it and when you have some type of guidance you're always going to find ways to do it easier lol.
If it's a quick connect you have to remove a clip it's easy to remove with a small screwdriver then just wiggle an pull at the same time .. it should pop off ... Gud luck hope it helped
@@producedbydoeselo2293 I removed the grill the headlights the top piece of plastic and detached the top hoes and bottom hoes that has a c-clip on it including the small oil hose connected to it on the bottom, that's it then I wiggled it out of there.
@@producedbydoeselo2293 I might have removed a few sensor clips but i did not remove the air intake or the shroud or the coolant reservoir or the battery box, nothing else but what was actually holding it from coming out. after you remove what's holding it down you can wiggle it out and put the new one right in.

So, how you removed the transmission fluid hoses that are connected from the front?
I am glad you were able to find ways to cut the time, if I had something to go by I probably would have done less lol.

Great job sharing all the minute details. The only issue I had was the fan shroud. Everything else was simple following your directions. Many thanks.

Good video bro, how did u check and ad transmission fluid, my 2007 doesn't have a dipstick viable under hood, thank you
The dipstick is under the car above the transmission pan, I would be lying to you if I tell I checked it lol.
Ur the champ
How the heck you remove those pesky shroud clips?
Damn bro is it really that hard and how long does it take you? I was thinking about doing it myself because the dealer wants 1000 bucks.

On the lower radiator hose is there a specific way to remove it?? Any special tools...
pushes off with small flathead from each side
Why didnt you show video while u were doing it? Video was still helpful though.

I used some big channel locks and twisted clockwise and pulled at the same time. Aggravating but got it done.
OMG all that for my radiator I am scared
The radiator is the same for a Lincoln navegator 2007?
I don't know, sorry.
Great video. What a crap design. A radiator replacement on my BMW takes about 20 minutes total.
OMG .. you didn't have to remove all that .. some of what you removed you didn't have too...
Half of the sh!t you removed didn't need to be removed.
u a lie u must never done this
@@LiilTyweezy Actually I've done it a few times.
@@lues7757 what don't j need to remove ? Mine is leaking
