I have to agree with everyone...that river and water is amazing! The clarity....I hope it stays that way! I have never caught a Grayling, I think most of our native Grayling here in Michigan in the United States are gone . They are neat fish!
Thanks for your comment, Shawn! It is our responsibility to save the rivers and to teach young generations how to do the same. If we don't do that. I am afraid beauties of this kind will not last long. Cheers, Admir
That is the finest of flyfishing: fishing on sight is the most exciting and sometimes the most desperate way of fishing. I would have very likely tried Frank Sawyer's killer bug - what a gin clear water 😳
So, it is clear now. When you come to visit Bosnia, you will have to go to Slovenia as well. This water is truly amazing. Slovenians are doing a really good job maintaing and protecting their rivers. Socal and Koritnica are simply "must go to" places when it comes to fly fishing. Cheers 🍻
Oh my god. Great fishing, Admir. What did it take in the end? Did you change fly? I was writing congratulations and then it was gone....that was a 50+ for sure. 🎣👍
Thanks Ian! Yes, I changed around 6-7 flies 😅. Surprisingly, he took a cadiss larva nymph, greenish body with a orange hot spot tag, tied on a 12# hook. Normally, when they are selective, they mostly take small nymphs. But this time it was different. Despite loosing the fish, it provided me a lot of joy and left me with another motive to come back again. Cheers mate
Again, had to cool my ballz 😄. Now joking aside, I had no choice as the only way was through the river itself. Check the steep sides at the beginning of the video...
You are giving all too much time and loose line for that size of fish. More power! Do not play so much with fish, you will loose a lot of fish, and it is not good at all for fish.
@@kaiheltola921 Well, we can discuss whether playing a bit more with the fish or forcing it, makes you lose more fish... There is also a personal preference, like for everything in life. If you prefer to (try) to take your fish under 1 minute, then do it, nothing to do with me. On the other hand, I am "playing with the fish" for something over 30 years already and am pretty sure I know what I am doing. However, thanks for your comment and tight lines! Cheers, Admir
Hello Admir. Another amazing video. Thanks for sharing!

Aw man that was a tank! Beautiful river!
Thanks mate 😊
Prelijepa priroda i lov na vid. Uzitak pravi gledati trud i na kraju kako se haman isplati. Bistro.
Hvala puno druže! Dovoljno je biti u ovakvoj prirodi, a ako riba pobijedi, onda još bolje. Bistro!
Nice job! beautiful river!
Thanks Steve!
Beautiful!
Good luck bud! Keep going!
Many thanks, mate!
In the states, we call this force feeding.

Yould would probably find some nice trout if you didn't plow through the water like an oaf.😇

@@admiredflyfishing i am italian and i like how our language is spoken in Slovenia too, i love it
@@riccardobosco2275 I see 😀. Well, in many parts of the world people say ciao. In Bosnia, we say ciao when arriving and when leaving as well. Cheers
@@admiredflyfishing I didn't know this, thank you very much! I thought you were Slovenian 🇸🇮

More power with #3 rod and 0.11 tippet?
@@admiredflyfishing yes for sure! I do also fish with class 3 nymf rods and thin leaders. Max one minute with a fish under 2 kg

If you keep the fish on your line for longer for yoir own pleasure then yes it has to do with you
