very beautiful indeed, but it's so cold! a couple of days ago I was on Soca and the Sava Bohinca fishing at 0/3 degrees Celsius. Cloudy days, no sun and the fish was rising on 18/20 emergers. We had some luck with rainbows, browns and some grayling, but after three/four hours in the water we left. Too cold, damned too cold, need to wait next spring
@@bonefish935 it is cold now, but you what they say.. a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work :D I usually fish all winter long with a fly in our rivers. Sometimes in -10 to -15 degrees C. At the beginning it is very cold, but in few days you adopt to ir and it’s not so bad. Of course warm clothes are necessary 🥶
@@muselinelt9528 Actually I was thinking about huco huco fishing during the winter. I've done it once in my life in Austria, but I was 20 years old. 50 years later I prefer something else 😊
Whatever they can find there. From picking insects (nymphs and dry flies) to small fish. Last year I managed to catch a 73cm big rainbow trout 🙈 insane 🇸🇮🥰
@@muselinelt9528 What species of small fish would they eat? In my area, Vancouver Island, we mostly have Sticklebacks, small Bullheads and Crayfish in our rivers. And, of course, young of the year salmon fry in the Spring.
Those rainbows look like hatchery fish. The flawed fins are the giveaway. The scenery, however, is next level. What a beautiful country.
Yes it is hatchery fish, but still very nice to catch, especially in this environments
Well done lads! Slovenias rivers are the treasure of Europe!
I have to agree with you 🙌
Wow it is beautiful out there! Great job documenting it!
Thank you very much! It really is 🫶

@ hucho really sounds exciting 😎 I have only few small ones in my account. Love the evil 😈 side of those predator takes like hucho or pike 😎
Beautiful fish's many parts of .. hatcheries 😢
70€ per day for fishing trout not wild. My God ...
Such clean water. What do the trout eat in there to grow so big?

too much stocked Rainbows.. sadly
Slovenia is destroying there fisheries.
@kosmophon well they declare that they stock it less and less. And that the grayling is getting back. Hopefully it’s true

It’s a pity of course. Would be great to have grayling back
