Thanks for doing this! Yours is the most thorough and complete explanation on how to download the PC suite! Like you said……….you have to have patience.
Hi, I really like your video. I am new to autel maxisys elite and j2534 reprogramming. You should do a video on updating or programming a automotive pcm, or ecu using the j2534 and your laptop from the beginning, getting the software for the automotive manufacturers, beginning to end, thanks
Hey! Thank you for the content request . Your request for an informative video on Powertrain Control Module calibration part number update and manufacture application installation process to a PC is on the way.
This was a good video. What I want to know is if this can be used by itself and with a laptop to flash an automotive PCM. What I want to know is if I can avoid buying any other Autel device if I bought the J2534 tool alone and did what you did in the video with a laptop.
Yess! J2534 Can be used as a stand alone device to reflash/program control modules. Download and install the manufacturer make application software and the programming begins. Note: PC specific details for proper function of software! Good luck!

ok ok pretty straight forward. My question is do we need the PC for the module updates like the dealership does. VCI ( or j2534 in this case) connected to the PC then open software. Find module and update/program?
Could you explain where to get the firmware for the flashing operation and how to do that, please? I was under the impression that you needed a tablet. But if all that is needed is a laptop, programmer, and flashing files for that specific vehicle, the guess work is done.
Hey 👋 you can access downloads from the manufacturer specific. Example: Programming Ford module would require Ford Motorcraft software download and installation etc.... What makes are you interested and I can set up a link to the desired manufacturer J2534 platform. Thanks for the request 😊
This the same down load for the Autel maxiflash elite j2534 please let me know I bought it used so want to use my laptop to it thank you great video no help on this
Yes it's the same download 👍 on the Maxi PC suite as shown in the video. Thanks for your question if you have any more I can answer to the best of my knowledge. Also if you would like to request any informative programming videos be my guest. Good luck and have fun with your new Autel product..
I'm 608 and GM module replacement programming "yes" you must use the VCI with a lap top. Go to WWW.ACDELCOTDS and make an account, purchase a subscription and select "add vin" to start up the SPS software. Most important make sure your PC is compatible with the requirements....
@@12voltautoprogramming40 Thanks friend, I don't know if you can send me a photo of the VCi because I only have the J2534. I would really appreciate it if you help me with the photo.

Have you removed the (FICM) fuel injection control module relay before starting the (PMI) programmable module installation procedure. That relay can cause the flash process to fail.

Good Video. I have been trying to get my TLC and MDI manager to recognize my Jvci , and yes I already did what you did on video.Any Suggestions?….Thanks Domenic (:
@@train-addict4656 How about your PC specifications are they meeting the software requirements? You can also call Techline connect phone number and they will do a remote session to get your JVCI connected and working properly
Well if it's a j2534 flashing interface you might be able to use it by checking the Techline Connect VCM tab and selecting the tool you are using if its supported. The tool interface selection automatically pops up when launching the "TLC" app. If your tool "SCANMATIK" is not available not you might want to try other j2534 tool drivers and try them you never know it just might work. Good luck 🤞
Negative not with your scanner but If your Autel diagnostic tool came with a J'box yes it will require a laptop and J2534 software to flash/program using the MOPAR Witech application.
