What’s the big improvement.
It would have been nice if it was adjustable for longer knives, as it is it's the same width as the stock holder...
With my Leading Edge long blade magnetic adapter (around 5 and a half minutes into this video - ua-cam.com/video/qiRwEGZOSVQ/v-deo.html), you can sharpen longer knives.
