Team games are so popular now because you can't get punched in the face while shittalking to other people which has never happened before in a history of mankind
Yup, get together with 4 random strangers IRL to do anything competitive and call them retard or tell them "fat man die with cancer" and "I fucking your mum" and see if you don't find out what shoe tastes like when they stomp your teeth in. But in an online game you can be a massive cunt and the worst that could happen to you is getting banned. And that's only in a select few games, in the rest the devs either don't give a fuck or don't have the budget to do anything.
Confessional time I rallied my robo to my army When the transport got there it picked up a unit did that like 4 times before realiz8ng what was happening Since I never could find it following It would be left behind with units inside All I wanted was to warp in at my army Ended up just a static warp in spot then I'd add em to the army and catch back up 4v4 is crazy
Ah yes, competitive team games. Anyone who has to write a paper about just how horrible a human can become should look no further than such games. Between poster children for the Danning-Kruger effect, people who use the competitive game mode "just for fun" rather than using the "just for fun" modes (and the opposite, people who play casual modes and demand pro-gamer attitudes and absolute perfection from everyone), trolls and griefers who ruin the game for you because it gives them a boner, people abusing the fact that you cannot beat someone's head in over the internet by being absolute rude cunts, and little RL losers who see the "report" button and immediately go on a power trip, the internet's unique effect of providing an audience while preserving your anonymity somehow gets amplified in those games. It's marvelous, really.
That's the ONLY time I have EVER seen microbial shroud used and it was completely pointless!

"Building one of everything is another win condition" Don't bash these guys. Transitioning from Civ to SC is not easy.
