Shane, this is the best hunting video I’ve ever seen. Good horses, a good dog and two great sheep hunters. What a memory for you and your dad. Had tears in my eyes when your old man was standing there looking over the country and down at his ram.

The camping and the hunt was grate, but the best part to me was you and your dad together. My son and I do a lot together and that is what I remember most.
I’m speechless...what you and your father did, 99.9% of people, even the toughest of sheep hunters, only dream about. My father and I share the same mountain hunting passion, at 69 this year, he’s still the toughest man I know, and of courses, is my hero. This just lit the sheep fire under me and as soon as I send him this video, his will be lit too. Thank you for taking the time to document and share your journey! Now, come on August!

My dad came out from Iowa to Idaho for 3, 30 day elk hunts. Never saw him so relaxed. Prior to that he and I back packed across the Bob Marshall Wilderness Area of Montana. He passed away October 17, 2017 at 89. He is sorely missed. Great vid!

What an awesome hunt. Being from NC on the other side of the country I have only dreamed of such an opportunity. My dad was killed when I was six. I never got to hunt or fish even one time with him. Outstanding video. As someone fixing to turn 60 in a few months I realize the window for fulfilling my dream of dall or stone sheep hunting is closing. I agree with the posts that exclaim that this is the best hunting video I've seen. My regret is that although my father had a country spirit who would have loved to adopt the high country hunter lifestyle he chose to make black and white photography his passion and excelled at that. He used to live vicariously through Jack O'Conner books and me when I'd talk about my hunting adventures and you could always see a measure of regret in his eyes when he thought about what might have been. I'm so glad your father was able to have one last great sheep hunt and bag such a monster. I was very impressed with your ability to live off of the land while performing the hunt. You two truly embody the spirit of the hunter/gatherer and are true sportsmen. Bravo.

My goodness, absolutely the most beautiful country I've ever seen. If not the best hunting video I've ever seen it's definitely the 2and, it's close. What a man your father is. To be 70 years old and do that. Truly AWESOME footage and I shed a tear also when he killed the Ram and was getting emotional. Great video!

As a lifelong hunter, I can't stomach most of the over the top, chest puffing, immature, testosterone laden hunting videos...its refreshing to see the real deal guys that show by actions and not making a lot noise trying to show off.

Fantastic...that's all I can say, just fantastic.
Awesome video!. My wife and I went sheep hunting with my best hunting buddy who was 78 at the time. He had just climbed the highest mountain in Europe a month before. 6 months after the successful hunt, he had a heart attack and 5 vessel bypass. You just never know when your time in the woods will end. Got to go.
