Cody I think there is only one word that sums up that hunt.... WOW! Dall Sheep country is truly amazing and I don't think it's possible to get a more beautiful ram than the one you got! Big congrats to you and thanks to the Mtn Project crew for letting us tag along. These vids keep me pumped for the upcoming hunting season.
The landscape was absolutely breath taking!!! I can't wait until I can get up north and witness it for myself. Congrats on a beautiful ram and memories that will last a life time.
Really puts into perspective of how much goes into a hunt. People who don't understand hunting should watch these videos and if they still don't get it, they will have to respect the grind people go through just to get that shot
Loved the video. Your narrative and clear appreciation for the country you're lucky enough to have visited, along with the stunning scenery and an amazing ram made this a very enjoyable viewing experience. Congratulations on a great adventure, awesome ram, and heck of a shot. Definitely adds some fuel to my fire.
Thank you to The Mountain Project for the videos you put out! Your videos have revived my desire for hunting and what life is about! 2020 had been tough on all but your video have brought joy for me to watch
What a magnificent ram! Huge congratulations to Cody and mad props for passing those other rams. Had to be tuff passing them and wondering after if it was the right choice. Obviously it was and couldn’t have turned out any better. Another great episode. Congratulations and thanks to everyone.
What a beautiful ram in trophy country. I’ve never thought about hunting these sheep but these videos have really sparked my interest. My wife, daughter and I have started pricing these hunts and hope to find our way north in the near future. You’ve sucked me in and made it feel like I was along for the ride. I hate to compare but mean this as a compliment, this is a lot like the land of the free project. Every video gets better and better. Like always, I can’t wait for the next video. Keep killing it!
Dream location and dream hunt. The bonus was the ram. God's country for sure! Joy to watch, thanks for sharing and congrats to Cody and what a great shot.
What a stud of a ram!! Props to holding on for the ram he was lookin for, excellent footage once again!! Mountain goats are my addiction, super stoked for tomorrow’s episode!
Absolutely amazing. I have been watching this video series of the dall sheep/caribou hunts and its a great reminder as to why a guy sheep hunts. Everyday I couldn't wait to see the next video. Would have been so easy to edit out all the mess ups, falling in the rocks on the scree sloop, shooting the wrong ram or even missing that caribou but that something that I love about this. Its real. I have never been on a sheep hunt were everything goes perfect. I wanted to see it in its entirety before commenting. Great videos. See you on the mountain.
What a beauty of a Ram! Congrats Cody! Great episode and great hunt. I especially like all the truth good and bad because thats real hunting. I would think we should see more of Cody, he did a great job
You guys are tough! I've hunted sheep twice in the Yukon, but they were horseback hunts. The horses carried all our gear. We just had to hike up to the rams.
How awesome is that! It can be really hard to watch when a ram tumbles down the hill & destroys a lot of the meat. Your patients paid off & now you have a freezer full of wild organic protein. Well done Sir.
Such amazing country up there. I hope that I can find the shekels somehow to once make a trip up there. Sheep will be out of budget for sure, but maybe caribou. Just to see the place with my own eyes. Congratulations on a very beautiful ram!
This was an awesome hunt! Really appreciate how hard you are willing to work for the ram you’ve dreamt about. Willing to put in the time and the extreme effort to harvest your perfect Ram. My grandpa is among the small group of people fortunate enough to harvest a sheep grand slam. It is a dream of mine as well. Anyway congratulations on an amazing ram. And thank you for sharing your adventures.
Awesome Ram! You guy’s are just fueling my fire to go to Alaska! Thanks for capturing the hunts for others! How and what’s the best way to get your sheep/caribou meat back to your house in great shape? -Jeremy from NM
Is that a bull barrel in your rifle? Looks like a cannon barrel, anyway yeah you are extremely lucky that has been one of the nicest sheep I've seen taken ( on a UA-cam cast overall)
I've watched this vid about 10 times. Love it, and that ram is SO beautiful! Odd question perhaps, but what's the song title/artist on the opening part? Thx
Congrats on a great ram. Hopefully time won’t stand still. 08/2020 will be here before I know it. What caliber rifle? What pack and what rifle carry system were you running?
"The mountain is calling and I must go, there's nothing left for me here that's all I know! this cities gone empty, this cities gone cold, the longer I stay the less it feels like home!" Lyrics to my new song..seemed fitting -Horto
Question for you Chase and Jay - I’ve always been nervous to share a gun, mostly because of eye relief, sighting in, etc (although I know that shouldn’t matter if a gun is zeroed). Any drawbacks or things you would do differently? Although I’d share too if it was that PROOF rifle! 😬
Yeah, swapping rifles isn't the same as swapping bows. Worse case scenario with the eye relief is Chase scopes himself... But still hits the sheep and caribou.
If I ever win the lottery or a lawsuit we're going to Arctic red River. There has been quite a few monarchs taken from that neck of the woods and it the country looks magestic. Now I just have to figure out who to sue......
What is the point of killing, that too, a male. you made the female lonely....why? dare you fight with this ram empty hands, one on one, you are not brave, sorry

Brian Ingles Cody is running the Proof 6.5CM, Kifaru Timberline pack and rifle sling.

Incredible video. Incredible camera. What camera did you use to film your hunt?
We will find out. Probably a handycam similar to the one in the discription
The only thing more beautiful than that Ram was the shot.....
Lay's where he was standing.
Awesome shot and ram!

We need to make one

What's the name of the song you play in your intro?
It says "highlighted comment" but not the name.
Bad men by Rivers
I found it on their Bandcamp, just search Rivers on that site and it’s on their Low EP
that hunt would kill me but I would die happy
Congrats on a Bruiser!
How can I get that song by the rivers band
It’s on Bandcamp... just search Bad Men Rivers Band when you get there. It’ll cost you a buck.
What a sheep! I wonder how the hell does anyone take one with a bow!?!?
If I ever win the lottery or a lawsuit we're going to Arctic red River. There has been quite a few monarchs taken from that neck of the woods and it the country looks magestic. Now I just have to figure out who to sue......
Beautiful ram. The OMG exclamations were totally unnecessary.
What is the point of killing, that too, a male. you made the female lonely....why? dare you fight with this ram empty hands, one on one, you are not brave, sorry
Find me a ram I can go one on one with and you got a deal
