I'm so disappointed that I couldn't catch this one live but I'm back for the replay. The people in the Inverted Theater, from my understanding, are all related family members of Kima. All are threads of the same tapestry. Evie, this is the first book that I have consistently reread and it's definitely a comfort read at this point for me. I'll probably reread it next year as well. This was an awesome stream.
Loved the chat! The magical elements reminded me of mythologies from South east asia and Indian sub continent. Like the thing that happens with First Terror’s head and no explanation given for it. I absolutely loved the way Jimenez wove modern and mythological story telling styles with some trippy dreamy time-space continuum stuff sprinkled over. Oooh btw I googled “go ham” because english is my 3rd language and apparently Ham can be an acronym for Hard as a M**********r 🧐
@@saim1412 I will never not have Kyle explain the youth terms to me. Much better than looking it up on urban dictionary. Great point! Jimenez does weave modern and mythic so well!
@@jakebishop7822 Sus. Either way, Under Heaven will be my next GGK. Is the “sequel” a true sequel (like Lord of Emperors is to Sailing to Sarantium), or is it more loose?

❤❤❤
It was 500 horses in Under Heaven , not 800 @Kyle
Also.I did definitely tell you Under Heaven and Brightness were the 2 GGK books with the most horse related content

@@SheWasOnlyEvie the follow up is another stand alone in the same world.
Why the hell did I think it was 800? Weird
@@readbykyle3082 That's it, I'm not reading it then! There are not going to be 800 horses as promised.
