Bro , I have searched everywhere for someone like u man , please keep big braining the rap game like u are and keep sharing your thoughts and thought process lots of respect coming from Perth , Australia bro ✌️✌️
Heyyy, welcome to the channel man - hope you find what you're looking for here. We've got tips about different aspects of writing lyrics, so I think you'll be able to keep yourself busy for a while. Thank you for watching! : )
i keep overthinking rap, can you make a all in one video like going over every concept in rap in 1 video. to see how the dot are connected but mainly i listen to rap and i just don't get how its on beat or not on beat and like what is the diffrence between flowing and not being in beat or is being on beat subjective. and its really all about doing things you want till it sounds good to the beat like feeling yourself but idk. i may understand it but can't put into practice exactly or correctly
The easiest way to know whether you're on beat or not is to know whether each beat has a vowel on it. So if you place a vowel on each beat, you are on beat.
Boom clap boom boom clap listen to the beat use syllables in the same tempo of beat so like boots and cats boots boots cats use word as in the form of the beat .. scoot the mat, and move the loot back , the coupe or jag ,neither won't look bad .
Another great video bro! If i may give a soft suggestion, in 2022 it doesn't sound professional to rhyme words like "people" & "brittle". Thanks to Kool Moe Dee who created multi-syllable rhymes in the 80's (Rakim, & Benny the Butcher are amazing at that technique) it's expected, especially in the industry & in the rap community to craft multi-syllable rhymes. So instead of "brittle" u could use "feeble" to rhyme with "people" so the entire word rhymes instead of just the very last syllable. It would be dope if u did a video on "multi-syllable rhymes" cuz that's a key ingredient to sounding professional. Ppl in the industry see artist as amateurs when they hear single syllable rhymes. As a writer we can even rhyme phrases with words so with the word people u can rhyme it with stuff like "see u", "be true", "eat food", "we do", etc. The more multi-syllable rhymes u have, the better the verse/hook will sound! For all aspiring rappers/songwriters if finding words that rhyme is a challenge, u can download a rhyme dictionary to help get your wheels turning.
I have to respectfully disagree. Lyrics don’t have to be complex to be good. If you have the skill, you can make an impactful couplet from a rhyme set like back/hat. Like.. hmm I saw my 7 year old baby girl get shot in the back, Now my dashboard holy, cuz its where I keep her only baseball hat. See? P.S. i will answer all of your comments when I do an upload in a few days, but I see you man. I recognize that you are into the craft, authentically and I respect and appreciate that.
@@RappingManualYT i understand bro. To each his own. I don't think it has to be complex to be technically sound. It's hard to find rap music in the past 20 yrs from high caliber rappers that rhyme stuff like bat & hat by themselves. I guess it all depends on what a person's motive for rapping is. I'm from the school of wanting to be the best, 1 of the best, or just be your best. Keep doing whatchu doing, bro! A simple example of what I'm saying is something like "For what I've gained from all the pain/ Dis ability should've came with a cane/ i can't fall even with my back against the wall, dawg, that's just my mindframe"
Thank you man, always wanted to come and visit your country! It's so beautiful! Mountains, the culture, 100% on my bucket list and the plan is to visit in the next 2 years!
If you don’t already, you should consider designing a course to sell on how to rap. It would give you a nice stream of income on the side while helping people beyond what you post on UA-cam.
To be on beat, just place vowel on each of the 4 beats. if you do that, you will feel what it's like to be on beat. Then you can play around with your flow, where you could come in and out, but still make it sound good. : )
Great video and tips as usual. Always an inspiration and always come with beneficial knowledge. Check me out if you have time. Leave some feedback too! Thanks a lot, i appreciate it.

Thank you so much man, sending you good vibes from Bulgaria! Glad you enjoyed the video.
anyone know where i can find this beat?
What kind of beat is that?
If you don’t already, you should consider designing a course to sell on how to rap. It would give you a nice stream of income on the side while helping people beyond what you post on UA-cam.
Thank you for the suggestion, I do have a course and it is helping me pay for the software to make these vids. Thank you for watching man.
Keep this doing brother, Respect - 9999
Thank you, glad you're enjoying the vids. : )
So when you flow on the beat the last Word of a line is suppose to hit the 4th beat usually?
To be on beat, just place vowel on each of the 4 beats. if you do that, you will feel what it's like to be on beat. Then you can play around with your flow, where you could come in and out, but still make it sound good. : )
Thanks maybe in another vid you can explain the vowel thing or demonstrate a lil bit
Thanks sir
My pleasure!
