    Receiving my bike Monday and these videos were really helpful to show me what to expect for range. Thank you!

    I took mine on a ride from my house in Utah, up a canyon to a beautiful place called Bridal Veil Falls, in Provo Canyon, that is near Sundance, I have a big hill I live on but made it 23 miles. Was a great ride, mostly in PAS 2 and some 3. That was on my Xpeak step through. Great video. I envy all of your trails there.

      Sounds like it was a nice ride to the waterfall, a,d the XPeak did good.

    Just got my step through yesterday, it’s all put together and ready to roll. I’m a tad nervous about the weight of it as I’m not a big person. It’s so much bigger than I expected. Also the gears in combo with the PAS. 😕 I wish there was a video showing how that works. Maybe you’d do one? I love your videos. Thanks for them.❤

    • @theridewithlance
      @theridewithlance  2 місяці тому

      @lynnann96 Don't be nervous. Just put it in PAS 1 and ride around up and down the road to see how it reacts. It will not be over whelming. Use a little throttle to get rolling, then start pedaling, yiu will feel the motor give you some power. It will not be a lot, and it will be smooth. Once you get used to that, start increasing the PAS levels to see how rhe respond. Rad has smooth power delivery so nothing should surprise you. I will look into making a video that address's this issue for new riders. Enjoy your new ride.

    Thanks for mentioning JerryT and Rip. Good guys. Remember Huell Howser in Cal Gold? Blaine reminds me of him

      @@theridewithlance I love it! You get a lot of bike for the price, I got the accessories package as well for 1499.00 off Amazon. The quality is very good and the range is awsome I did 22miles in mode 2 and a little in 3 mode on really big hills and still came home with all 5 bars of power. I’m very impressive but the rear shock does kinda suck but I can live with that. Guess you can tell I love this bike lol…

    The bike looks a lot better with the changes you've made. I couldn't live with the toe overlap, otherwise I might try one.

    • @theridewithlance

      I think it looks better without all the racks and fenders to. The toe overlap has not caused a problem for me as I right on the balls of my feet.

    Lance I think I remember you saying that you put an adjustable stem on it? Did you change the handlebar too? You are going to talk me into buying that one! Thank you for the shoutout too!

    • @theridewithlance
      @theridewithlance  5 місяців тому

      No, I am still using the stock stem. Just replaced the handlebars with a set that is 31 inches long and has a 3.5" rise. This bike has a shorter wheelbase so all I had to do was get bars with a rise.

    Lance, come up to Nevada City for Dirt Daze on Sat, May 4. Ride the newest e-mtn bikes (be there by 8am, though, to get the best choice) on the most awesome, fun flow trails you can imagine.

    19.8 miles doesn't seem like a lot. Is there a way to use the 2nd battery without having to disconnect? BTW, like the dirt trails on your ride... looked like, for the most part, nice dirt (not too rocky).

    • @theridewithlance
      @theridewithlance  5 місяців тому +1

      I dont think Lectric makes a mount for a 2nd battery, but they are some who have figured out how to install a 2nd battery.

    You're fortunate to live in Cal. cause you got a lot of choices of where to ride your e bike. Plus you got the weather. I enjoy watching the 2 Richards, the one from Miss and the one from Fla.Old Mr Kent, also Russ is Right and some guy named Lance.

    Thanks for all your input on this bike Lance, definitely got a subscribe out of me! I am thinking about buying this model but wondering how it will fit me( 6' , 280). I ride an extended cruiser now and thinking about making it an ebike or getting this Letric. What are your thoughts on sitting back on the bike and cruising? the comments seem to put this bike for smaller folks.

    • @theridewithlance
      @theridewithlance  5 місяців тому

      I you watch my video "Customized Lectric Xpeak" it tells you what I did to get a very comfortable riding position for cruising. I am 6 feet tall and weigh 250 pounds. When I first got the bike I felt very tall sitting on it. The bars are narrow for tall riders, and with the shorter wheelbase, it felt a bit cramped. Like your arms are to close togather and not much of a reach. After changing the bars and adding a comfort seat on a suspension seat post, it changed the whole feel of the bike for the better. Now it is my go to cruiser when to just want to ride. Just remember on this bike you cant use storage racks on the front or back, or you get dome pretty bad head shacks.

  • @baioバイオ
    @baioバイオ 5 місяців тому

    On the Lectric site it says this bike is good for a person up to 6'5". As someone that is 6'5", I was wondering how tall you are and how comfortable the geometry is for you.

    • @theridewithlance
      @theridewithlance  5 місяців тому +1

      I am 6'. I had to replace the bars with wider bars that had 3.5" rise to get a real comfortable riding position. The geometry seems fine, the bike is very nimble in the tight stuff, but with a shorter wheel base you do have to ride on the balls of your feet, or your foot could hit the front wheel on sharp turns.

  • @pedrofernandez8729

    No more wobbles on that bike?

    • @theridewithlance
      @theridewithlance  5 місяців тому +4

      No more wobbles. Once I removed the racks the wobbles stopped. I planned on doing that anyways for off-roading, and once I put a new set of handlebars on and the suspension seat post, it has become a fantastic riding bike both on and off-road.
