For painting yes, for grinding or virus, the pre filter is needed, it's N95!

I was using it wrong for a couple of days I did not know you hook up the white filters to the cartridge I thought they were extra filters that go inside the cartridge 😡

Yes it is. The white filter added is the one to filter out the virus.

Yes! The N95 or P95 white pre filter will work. The pink 3m filters are P100 , best.

Hi Doc, I bought 3 kinds of Mask. 3m6000 & 3m6500QL and GVS EIipse. I used them everyday and still I can smell the fumes tho I’m using them properly but still can smell fumes. Why is that?
Does it lessen breathing in chainsaw exhaust? I’ve went back to work using the chainsaw for hours and it’s like I can feel it in my throat. Not a good feeling.
