This gave me a huge smile,so lovely
Bro this video was so damn good! I hope there is a video one day of you talking to your best friend's mom!
Only learning japanese in 6 months and I can fully understand what you are saying is crazy! Your japanese is pretty smooth between words! Absolutely amazing!
This video made me cry with joy wowwww the emotion, the love for a friend through language. Amazing, I'm going to keep at my Russian learning, this sparked my motivation to continue! Thankyou Jannah! You're awesome! So inspiring!
awh thanks man, this really made my day!
Wow that's so awesome. Thanks for this :) you've inspired more people than just making your friend and yourself happy. And what a great testimonial for Ollie's course lol! I might actually buy it through your link, as I'm just a couple months into studying Japanese, and I already believe in immersion learning, but I don't have a very structured approach-I've just been watching Japanese shows and doing Anki (kind of like the Refold method but half-assed). If his course helped you get this far in 6 months, then it might be just what I need, too. Thanks again!
wow, this is one of the loveliest comments i've received - i'm so glad that i could help in any small way and i'm so excited for you to start learning with Ollie, his methods were just revolutionary for me- good luck !
@@jannahhossain4321 So cool to come back to this video now. I understand everything now, but I mostly didn't when I left my first comment. This video is still one of the best inspiration videos for language learning I think, especially if you have someone you can surprise with your progress like that
My best friend is half Japanese and this has always been a dream of mine!! You’ve really inspired me 🫶🏼💕
I really like Japanese language and I think it's a fascinating language, but never actually tried learn it because it's difficult and I was afraid of learning it. However after watching your video, you inspired me to learn Japanese and now it's been three months since I started learning it. Although it's still challenging to learn it yet it's so fun and I truly feel satisfied and happy every time I study japanese. Thank you so much for sharing this video and your experience in learning Japanese with us! May Allah always bless you with health and happiness 🌟
I’m learning Japanese on duolingo because I can’t afford classes, and I went on talki to check it out, will definitely ask my parents to let me try out a lesson! Also, your Japanese skills motivate me sm😭🙏💕
I've been studying japenese for a year and I can't even talk like this, masha Allah seriously we want more of these videos
This video made me so happy! I was on Xiaomanyc's channel and stumbled across his post on you by accident. I'm glad I found this, it is so wholesome. :)
awhh i'm so glad, comments like this make my week ! :D
Awesome to see, good on you! Proud of your efforts, keep it up. The motivation to learn a second language simply to speak to a close friend/friends is such a powerful reason and it's what drives me to learn my language every day. Kind regards from Australia
awh Ben thanks! so awesome to hear all the way from Australia- what language are you learning? :D
I'm learning Finnish, which is rare for an Aussie to learn, but I love the language and I'd love to speak to my friends from exchange (when I lived in Europe) in the language and get to a high level, I've been learning it for a year and a half now and can have basic conversations - similar to your level in Japanese, I imagine 😊
@@bensomes7662 that's so cool- good luck with it!
Literally i kept my smile all the video
This video is so inspiring! It even made me emotional 🥲 I really want to study Japanese and your video really encouraged me to keep on going and trying to learn it! ❤
Being able to speak the Japanese language is totally a milestone.👌😲. Congrats and good luck with the hiragana.katakana lectures as well as the KANJI... I look forward to more of your vlogs😄

Cant believe that essex accent she had DID NOT expect that xD
This is so sweet and it makes me miss my bestie so much.
This is the most wholesome thing on the Internet and I only just discovered it today!😭😭😭😂😂
I’m learning Korean (but spend most of my time procrastinating and wanting to pull my hair out) but omg this was some motivation! I honestly don’t know how this happened without learning to write and read a little (if not just for studying/reviewing purposes), but I LOVE IT!
Love this so much! Have you kept it up?
awhhh, this comment really made me smile - thanks so much!!
OMG YOURE SO GOOD I CANT BELIEVE YOU LEARNT THIS IN 6 MONTHS!!!!
I actually so motivated to learn Somali for my husband 🤣 we are in a Long distance relationship and we talk every day in English. I always tell him I want to get better at our mother tongue. It’ll be so cute to surprise him in 6 months 😍😍😍🤣
Wow Jannah!!!
This is so inspiring! I’m actually doing the same thing with French currently so it’s so cool to be led to this video (through Olly)! One of the reasons I’m learning French is to surprise an old friend with my French via video call and I’m also planning to do it after 6 months from the date that I started✨
Loved seeing your and your friend’s reactions! Best of luck on your language learning endeavors!
The motivation this video gave me📈📈📈
omg I'm so happy it gave you a boost haha, now you're giving me motivation :D good luck with French, you're friend is going to be so happy. If you film it let me know- i'd love to see it!
This is so beautiful.
thank you Deborah :D
Thank you for sharing this wonderful moment with us. You are so talented and thoughtful! Best wishes ❤️
that's so lovely, thank you so much!
i have two chinese friends. I spent two years learning Mandarin in high school but ever since graduating (two years ago) I've been caught up with my degree that I barely use it - but seeing your friends reactions, I really want to surprise my two friends!
girlie looks terrified you're about to overtake her in language proficiency 😭😭
