If you have any further questions regarding install, feel free to let us know below!
The Fuel Pressure Gauge used in this install was used during testing but it is not needed and was removed to keep cost down on the final kit.
This badass kit can support 650whp+! It comes with two 50lb injectors and all lines and fittings are ethanol and race gas compatible. Not to mention tunning E85 fuel is now possible on larger turbos without needing to run lean. The intake valves are kept more clean because the fuel will dissolve the build up on intake valves.
Many OEMs opt to run both port and direct injection systems on their high power vehicles. This way you keep the DI system and efficiency and will only use the port aux system at wide open throttle.
*** Tuning is required
I don't owned a Ecoboost Mustang. But woow, cudos to all the guys at MAP , this is a great video, excellent parts. Keep up the good work!
+pekoso1 Thank you!!
Just noticed there was no mention of how to wire up the tach adapter included in the kit.
So basically this will also fix the carbon build up on the intake valves and ports. Might install this myself after the warranty goes
I know it takes time to create these videos especially with the quality you guys put into them, but for such an install a little bit longer and not as sped up would be nicer.
+luckarlie Thanks for the feedback. We know this was a long/tough install. Wanted to make sure it wasn't painful to watch and figured you could pause/play as needed!
+MAPerformance True, I recently installed the exhaust and downpipe you guys have and I'm very happy with my purchase and your tutorials. Keep up the good work!
+luckarlie Glad to hear it! We certainly will.
The split second wiring kit you guys sent me is totally different from the one yall are using in this video...
Mine came with 4 yellow/black wires. Not a brown wire
Taylor Hall
Pin 42 - Ignition coil 1 = yellow
Pin 57 - Ignition coil 2 = yellow
Pin 72 - Ignition coil 3 = yellow
Pin 43 - Ignition coil 4 = yellow
Pin 33 - MAP voltage signal = green
Is this still available????
Can you still buy this kit?
I own the 2017 Ecoboost Mustang. Im looking into doing the turbo upgrade. Do you guys have a video of you doing yours and can you tell me what size turbo your running?
We do not have instructions for the turbo kit at this time - we had a 6466 on the race car which was on a one off T4 flange.
@@maperformance Thanks
are you guys developing a kit like this for the FA20DIT?
+Stanley Zitello I don't think it is in the plans, but we will keep it in mind moving forward! We have seen these cars make over 500whp and run 10s on the stock fuel system so the market isn't quite there yet.
+MAPerformance it's more of a consideration for running e85 since you'll be running out of fueling a lot sooner. It wouldn't hurt the carbon buildup problem either, a couple walnut blastings would probably pay for the kit.
Is this really the only way to add more fuel to this motor. I know its a direct injection but isnt there a better way to add more fuel then 2 more injectors
+Thomas Ryan Yes, anything over ~450-500whp you are going to need this!
+MAPerformance Does the stock system works with only a tune for e85 or its obligatory to change the fuel system to run e85?
+Emanuel Emanuel Yes the Ecoboost platform needs more fueling capabilites before you can run a full E85 tune successfully!
MAPerformance do you, or can you make this for the transverse 3.5 ecoboost?
Can you make a video like this for the Turbokit??
+Tai Dash We are looking into it!
ok what if you want to make over 500hp is this System safe to use ?
+billy heaton Yes, we recommend this for anyone looking to make over 500whp. Anything under that this kit won't really be needed unless you are looking for E85!
MAPerformance Thank you
The video is way to quick, a longer detailed video would be way more helpful.
I like it were u can click on the link to buy it and it’s not even being sold
Wtf
Yes unfortunately this kit is no longer available. Give us a shout, we have a Radium kit that is amazing! sales@maperformance.com
