I found your channel when I first started playing magic during the War of The Spark set. What an awesome time to get into magic. I took a break from magic for awhile after the ikoria set. Came back to collect some cards from LOTR set but Bloomburrow has really caused a resurgence within me and has me excited about magic again. Not quite as exciting as war of The Spark but really close! I'm hoping to build an otter themed commander deck around Bria, Riptide Rouge. It's nice to watch your vids again since I took that break from magic awhile back. I do prefer your older logo but you do you man! Sending all the love!

I ran Zada, Hedron Grinder and Deekah, Fractal Theorist in the Pride tournament my store ran last month. I was able to get some massive value from Ral, Storm Conduit, even when Zada was not in play. Otter Ral is going to be a huge upgrade for this deck, and I’m looking to run Bria, Riptide Rogue as commander.
@@GTFBITK at the end of June, WOTC gave their WPN member stores promo materials for a sanctioned Commander tournament, where any two legendary creatures could be partner commanders, regardless if they had the Partner ability on the card. I went with Zada and Deekah, aiming to cast cantrips that target Zada, then have Deekah flood the board with fractals.
I'm liking the new rebrand man. Got super lucky on a early release rip-n-ship channel today. They pulled me a Raised Foil Liliana. I'm super excited. Keep up the great videos BBG.
You can only pay for offspring once because it's being paid as you're casting the spell (unless youre running the jeskai precon commander that could give a creature an additional instance of offspring). It still seems really strong but it isn't THAT broken
So the full arts aren't expensive? I'm pretty new to magic tcg. I have a collector's box though. Has this lost changed much since this post? Thanks in advance 🙏
This sets power level is overall fairly low. There are only like a half dozen cards that will see regular play in standard. The tribal land is probably the best card in the set just because of Humans being so strong. Also, I think the green black ward creature will definitely see some play, but probably as a 2 of since it's legendary. Other than that, the only things seeing play will be sorcery's and instants. The one card I'm watching that has the potential to be absolutely busted is that (X)U card that allows for busted free cast shenanigans if you nail 4 different permanents. I can see that going in quite a few decks. They also reprinted the fetch land that has been so good for so long, so that could save the Nissa world soul decks. We will see.

Very excited for this set a bit underwhelmed power wise but there are some bangers and its probably the most fun theme we have seen in a while imo
Bria is one of the cards included in the Bloomburrow starter set, so if those are mass printed, getting one should be easy.

No, because you aren't casting the copies that enter. Offspring only lets you pay as you cast the spell
