Having seen both seasons, I unfortunately have to say Landry is a highly unlikeable character. He betrayed his order's commands and fathered a child but still comes across as very strict and unbending when others do; he preaches the Lord but is highly temperamental and vengeful and these traits are not seen as shortcomings. I think the King was forced to appear mad and evil for plot's sake but in the end he was more right than Landry or the Queen. Too bad because there were some characters I liked, like Tancrede and Gawain.
@@anais-francoisedenoaillesd9547 me too. The King would never have done anything if it wasn't for Landry and the Queen. Besides, Philip is portrayed by Ed Stoppard which is an amazing actor
Landry was everything a Knight Templar shouldn't be and totally unlikable. There was almost nothing historically accurate about this show but who's surprised being it was on the History Channel. The second season it became more interesting with the addition of Mark Hamill's part. But I have to admit I would love to have the sword Landry carried in the second season in my collection.
How people cn even like Landry is beyond me. He's the biggest hippocrite on the show. The only truthful thing about him is his love and faith in God. EVERYTHING is HIS fault. His and Joan's. You don't sleep with the King's wife and expect to not pay for it. Joan should have known that as well. Landry had the grail, and wouldnt his injured brother drink from it to try to heal his injury telling him it's "God's Will." But he didnt hesitiate using the grail to try and save Joan, then he destroyed it and no one said anything about it. All Phillip wanted was Landry. But Landry crawled back to the Templars putting them all at risk of the King's wrath. I hated the way season 2 ended because they made Phillip the bad guy when he never was. He loves to blame Gawain for the Templars downfall but he started the whole thing. I despise Landry. He's shown time and time again he's not fit to be a leader and yet I guess he's always been the main character if the show and has to he the good guy.
Bring the show back!!
Yes
Landry is both the protagonist and the villain in this series.
In the first season you can see in that way but after his redemption (earned in the hardest way) everything changes
He’s a bit like Eren, honestly.
I literally feel so sad when it was cancelled after season 2
Bring the series back please

Landry is the worst character. I was always siding with King Philippe.

@@anais-francoisedenoaillesd9547 exactly ❤️
Landry is a very bad character. He cheated the King, his friend, bad decision making many times. I stop watching the show because of him.

Templar Knights have fifteen or more thousands of members of their organization, 90% of their members are non-combat and 10% are knights.
He's a hypocrite having an affair with a married women.
Budzindi808 Philip is far for Hypocrite.
We should not judge other people's sins
but Philip is a hypocrite too so I don't get your point.
That’s what makes him a real christian. He was broken, conflicted, a sinner. One who accepted his mistakes and made amends to it.
May the father of understanding guide us

I lowkey would've loved seeing a Templar like Landry in Assassin's Creed.
The only problem with this show is that it ended at season 2.

The actor is really good, but i hated his character with a burning passion.

Where's Jacques DeMolay?
Shouldn't Landry actually be DeMolay?
Really fail that there is no Amazon stream or Netflix
Let it not be a spoiler but you will never find the Holy Grail. Landry smashed it in anger at the end of Season 1 😂
