Great explanation, telling us everything we need to know. I kinda knew anyway, but sometimes I wonder why I shoot Clog3 cinema gamut when Davinci Resolve's Canon cinema gamut CLog3 LUT is way off. Reds look purple, the image is desaturated and flat still and I have to do lots of tweaking to get it to look half as good as my non-log footage shot on a much cheaper camera.
