May Allah bless you all. It was an honor taking part in this session with my teachers, Shaykh Abdullah and Shaykh Omar. May Allah accept from them, the Yaqeen team and all of us.
The legendary team. My daily routine of watching the news, well informed the staff is amazing and channel 4 is in good hands. A loyal viewer, thank you channel 4🇺🇸
I’m 76 years young, born and raised in the Twin Cities and have always considered you guys my hometown news team. But I am curious. Don had a co-anchor, Colleen Needles, if I recall correctly. If she was mentioned in this program, I missed it. Whatever happened to her.
Thanks for the memories and a lifetime of excellent reporting. Long live WCCO.
Also you mention Jason during the 35 bridge collapse but he's not part of this, either.
I've watched 'CCO since the days of Dave Moore, and he wouldn't be happy with the lack of real news and the amount of happy 'news'' items that populate each 'CCO newscast these days. That's why I watch a half hour of KSTP in the morning to get more news coverage than 'CCO covers....even though I prefer the people at 'CCO. (I'm halfway through special and so far, no Cedric Adams, no Dave Moore, no Bud Kraeling, no John Gallos, etc.)
Good stuff there.
I have watched WCCO for many years and find them most genuine people.
It's like having a neighbor stop by to hang out at the grill with a cold one and chat for awhile telling truths and fat lies, like the big fish that got away from you.
Or the weather and other useless stuff that comes to our minds (there is almost one person that has useless stories)
I will continue to watch WCCO
Oh and one more thing , I am a deaf person and wear a hearing aid and you communications skills are better and more clear to hear than others that rattle of words to fast they stumble sometimes when speaking
