“SLEEP TOKEN DON’T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT THEM TO DO” Yes! That’s it precisely. You get it. I love that they do this. Vessel’s lyrics cut deeper than a surgeon’s knife in this one. Great reaction Steve, as always! W O R S H I P
I love the usage of vocoder in this song. Just that extra bit of oomph to accentuate Vessel's vocals. I also imagine that this will be an amazing piano-driven song for a future "From the Room Below" show.
Adored this song. Fall for me was one of my favourites off of TPWBYT “. I think a few people forget how pop oriented Sundowning was! They can do it all
This band, man… this freaking band. I struggle to think of any other artists with this kind of diversity in their catalog. Honestly, nothing comes to mind. This is easily their poppiest song to date, but they always ALWAYS find a way to make it work. And while it’s undoubtedly a pop track with none of the harsh edge or brutal drops that they’ve become known for, it still has this slightly uncomfortable and melancholy atmosphere that comes from the odd syncopation and the warbly oooh’s and aaah’s in the background. It’s almost an exercise in minimalism. I just love these guys. You absolutely never know what to expect from them. True artists like this don’t come around often and we’re all very lucky to be here now to enjoy the ride. 👏👏👏
Not one of the little creative embellishments in the song missed. Man, there is talent in this band. Great reaction. Like you said, they absolutely do not care what the f... we think. Love that.
With the lyrics, this song is unmistakable for Sleep Token, and of course Vessels voice. It’s one of those which can sound so simplistic, yet isn’t. I would be really interested to see if and more so ‘how’ this would be performed live. I believe that will switch over all of those who are disappointed with the pop element. Also waiting to see if this gets played on mainstream radio. That would be great!
Personally I really enjoy this one and connect with the lyrics. I can see why others dislike it. The auto tune through me off at first as well but I believe there's a reason. In the song he seems to be talking about himself and his insecurities. He could be using Auto tune as a stylistic choice towards being insecure? To bring out the message of the song more. Man definitely shouldn't be insecure about his voice though because...damn it's spectacular.
The first 5 singles (Chokehold, The Summoning, Granite, Aqua Regia, Vore) all respectively sit in chronological order from tracks 1-5, where as this new song is the 9th track on the album

I would love "from the room below" version of this song
Yeah that could be magical
I adore everything about this band. The amount of talent they hold is unfathomable
This is the thing, it doesn't feel like we've even scratched the surface of what they might be fully capable of. They are immense.
Adored this song. Fall for me was one of my favourites off of TPWBYT “. I think a few people forget how pop oriented Sundowning was! They can do it all
Yes, this reminds me a lot of Fall for Me
It’s placed perfectly in the album’s playlist. Helps move the story.❤

Yes! Exactly. They take a simple formula and sprinkle it with their own gold dust. It’s like magic.
@@SteveOGRock This might be a stretch, but know what this reminds me of? ...Phil Collins. I'm serious.
That is a GREAT shout! I love me a bit of Phil Collins.
Enjoyed it on first listen and it’s already growing on me with every repeat listen. Can’t wait to hear the rest of the album
Yeah I think it could be quite the palate-cleanser in the context of the album.
Not one of the little creative embellishments in the song missed.

Been waiting for this reaction for hours!
Thanks for waiting! I wasn’t awake at midnight to do it straight away 😄
This will sound so good blasting in my car.
worship
It sounds like Fall For Me with a Drake beat behind it and I'm here for all of it
I love that they do whatever they want.

Yeah could do well on mainstream radio!
Guess I am here early. Funny how every sleep token song could belong to a different Spotify playlist genre-wise. Another great reaction video mate. 💪🏾
Cheers Lucas!
And yeah, playlist chameleons indeed!
It has a summer vibe. Cool.
I loved it, another great song

Yeah his live voice is next level
Great review ❤
Can't believe that this is on the same album as vore lol
u must be new to sleep token
Haha good call out. The savagery and delicate beauty are so drastic here.
Has the track listing been released yet for the upcoming album? Wonder this sits in relation to the other songs already released
yes it has, this is the first single that was released out of order

This was a interesting experience, I kept waiting the song to start the whole time, since the intro was interesting enough to serve as a contrast.
