I feel that it doesn’t really have a resolution, and I think that adds to the lyrics. I’ve listened to this at least a dozen times today, and I think that may be what makes this song so impactful.

I cried, too. No shame in admitting that. This song laid my soul bare and it wouldn't be denied. This is easily my favorite on the whole album.
