Hey Thomas! Just wanted to say great job on the videos. I love watching them, and the shotkam videos are very helpful also. We just had opening day of our third split in NC and I am excited to say that I shot my first ever scotch double. I watched most of your videos with the shotkam in preparation for the upcoming hunt and I feel like the videos helped me. Thanks for making such amazing content and as always keep up the good work!!!
Thanks man! Really appreciate you watching and glad to hear that you are finding them helpful. Congrats on the scotch double too, I hope the NC seasons continues to treat you well!
congrats on a great hunt and video 👍 is there going to be an update on the millet pond soon? considering doing that myself for next season and want to know how it has worked out for you.
Thanks John! Unfortunately I won't be able to do any more millet pond updates till February since I'm down here in Texas till then. My millet got pretty much wiped out in two weeks though in late September from a pile of wood ducks that got on it. I really liked growing it cause it's cheap and very easy to get to take but I think next year I'm going to try rice
Thomas I love the hunting videos because it gives me ideas but it is annoying seeing you hunt when I'm at home . I do hunting like duck, pigoen, rabbits, clays and pheasants. I think you get the idea . Keep up the good work 👏 looking forward to the next video
kinda sad i filmed a great woodie hunt and we shot like crap so thinking about getting a motion ducks to help them finish and we should limit out easily next time.
Dang man sorry to hear that but that's cool that y'all were able to get on a good one! I definitely think water motion will help if they're not decoying in how you'd like. If you pickup a motion ducks be sure to use that code so that you save some money
I think his mom was a purebred lab and his dad was some sort of mix from what Jordan was saying. I don’t think he actually knows his complete breed makeup though
@@HokeOutdoors her family is too. Chester/hopewell area. I’ve hunted there a couple times on a creek off the james and done very well. But now there is blinds there and I can’t find any good public to hunt. We will be up there in December. I’ll find out exactly when.
Lol got detained by the police again on the Niagara river for duck hunting. I was let go but they led me to unsafe water and I got soaked I had to walk my kayak through the waves with no waders. They offered me no help and I was freezing. This was on Friday and I even skipped work for that experience.
@@HokeOutdoors they have no idea what the firearm laws are or anything to do with hunting and we dont have dnr because we aren't a big enough area to get proper government services also to do with bad government where no one knows anything. Long story short I'm never committing a crime and this happens more often then not. Canada is not a well run country but the land is beautiful
Because party hunting is illegal. By law you have to know what you shot and keep your birds separate. If I post a video where I shoot 8 ducks instead of my 6 that I’m allowed for a limit I’m going to get a ticket
@@trashpandafighter8376 i literally said is it state or federal cause not all states regulations are federal. Like in WA state you can shoot 7 mallards and in other parts you can only shoot 4. Sooooooooo I looked up if "party" hunting was against federal law. Which that site is the federal side of waterfowl hunting......
Great hunt buddy, Congrats! Merry Christmas! And God Bless all!!!🤗👍🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thanks! Merry Christmas to you as well!

Had a blast hunting with you and Jordo. Let's do it again!
For sure!
Man that duck you shot at 8:30 must have been a hundred yds out. NIIIICE!
Man, great hunt. I love it best hunt was a week ago I killed 4 out of 37 in Arkansas good vid
Great video Thomas. Really enjoyed watching this one.
Thanks Elliot! Really appreciate you making it possible for us
I just want one duck to land in my spread! 😂😂😂🤙
Haha it can definitely be tough with stale birds or pressured areas
You should come here to Louisiana, we have groups of 30+ teal come in on a daily basis
I'd definitely love to. Heard a lot of good things about LA even with the recent warm winters
@@HokeOutdoors then warmer winter have kept them blue wings here, and you can’t get much more fun than that
Cameras always seem to be off when the cool stuff happens! Awesome hunt.
Thanks man! Definitely true about the cameras but that's just how it goes unfortunately
Fun hunt with the guys. Looks like good times. Stay safe and healthy. Have a Merry Christmas.
Thanks Colby! Merry Christmas to you as well!

You dont seem to well hid and from past hunts guys across the big ponds we hunt the first thing we notice is their white faces when they move

Well done, Merry Christmas 🎄🎁
Thanks man! Hope you had a Merry Christmas as well
Greetings from Scandinavia.
Happy New Year.
Hello! Happy new years to you as well! Do you waterfowl hunt up there?
@@HokeOutdoors yes we have, but you seem to have better areas than we have here.
Get em Thomas!!!. I hit like soon as I heard Shoveler.
😊
Thanks Samuel! Glad you enjoyed!

Hell yeah great video what kind of choke are you using ?
Thanks man! I was using a Carlsons Light Modified choke
Good job brother
Thanks brother!
Sweet hunt 👍👍
Thanks brother!
Good hunt, Thomas!
Thanks Chase!
Good stuff man keep it up!
Thanks brother! Glad you enjoyed!
Just wondering what mix chief is? He is so handsome and amazing at retrieving. He just doesn’t look pure bred lab to me!
I think his mom was a purebred lab and his dad was some sort of mix from what Jordan was saying. I don’t think he actually knows his complete breed makeup though
Well he is amazing. Love seeing mixed breeds out doing what most view to be a “pure bred” job!
He looks like a Chessi Lab cross for sure. Great cross too.
Looked like a great hunt
Thanks Matt!
Awesome vid. Love from NC
Thanks man! Good luck in NC this season!
I love your videos keep up the work
Thanks man!
No prob u are my favorite UA-camer
One spoon bill sighting sure turned into a smack down
Haha yeah we would've been happy with just our spoony but the other birds were a nice bonus 😂
What part of Va are you from. Wife is from there and would love to get together for a hunt while I’m up visiting.
Hey man I'm from the Richmond area. What part of the state will you be visiting and when?

Can you show us how you do your jerk rigs Thomas

I actually have a video showing my motion ducks ultimate spreader in use

Thomas you do know when your doing something else they will come in . Murphy`s Law
Haha yep, it really never fails
Have you ever gone to Calder lake.
I have not
It’s pretty good

Holy smokes man that sucks, glad you didn't end up hurt or in jail though. Why did they detain you??

I just went hunting
Damn I thought I was first
Lol gotta be a little quicker
Come west some more and hit up matt judy on Instagram for some crazy wigeon and mallard hunts here in the evergreen state
Thanks man! Will do whenever I get the chance to come out there
First
👍🏻👍🏻
Why do you keep shooting birds over thick ass brush when you have 30 in front
Because there was a dog in the water
Why do yall worry about who shot what? Why not just shoot 3 limits who cares who shot what?

Just looked at the fsw.org site doesn't say anything about "party" hunting.
