I'm eagerly looking forward to an overview of the Gameball Pro. If I may suggest a feature, since I see that you're making it wireless: please consider implementing both Bluetooth and 2.4 connectivity with an included dongle that slots into the bottom of the device. The reason for this is, not only to give people more choices but also to allow for seamless switching between devices, which is something I do in my current setup every day. I realize it's a game-focused device but I'd love to see the pro become my daily driver for ALL purposes, gaming-related or otherwise. You may already have plans to do that, but I thought I'd suggest it anyway, just in case!
I absolutely love the gameball. I just beat elden ring with it and I'm going through sekiro right now too. Can't wait for the pro too because as much as I like the touchpad scroll a physical scroll wheel is just more practical in my opinion.
I'd been monitoring the Gameball since I found out about it, as I have vastly preferred trackballs over mice since I first tried them, but always felt left out as there were no gaming trackballs. Due to timing missed out on the 1st batch of orders, managed to get into the 2nd batch, and I've loved the Gameball ever since. I was used to thumb trackballs, so it took sometime to get used to things as far as the button layout and responsiveness, but I think I prefer this style of trackball now (Default DPI was too fast though, so I set it to the next one lower almost right out of the box). Certainly was noticeably worse in games for quite awhile, but games that I've returned to since getting the Gameball I'm having a better time with now (especially since I also have a 1000Hz keyboard to go along with the Gameball). I look forward to the non-beta firmware release and whatever other products are released in the future. Edit: May need to try adapting to the default or higher DPI at some point.
Just received my GameBall (Well, a couple of weeks ago) and it is absolutely fantastic. Couldn't wait for the Pro, and I'm glad I didn't Can I ask what the thinking is behind giving the Pro a physical Scroll Wheel? One of the best features of the GameBall (I have arthritis in my thumb / finger joints) is that I don't have to continually scroll - Not only is it easier for me the whole touch to scroll sensor, but being able to just hold it down is a godsend (especially since you can easily control the scroll speed with how far down on the sensor you are). Good luck in the future!
The Gameball Pro sounds like the original Microsoft Trackball Explorer which I loved! I still have mine actually and it still works, but currently using a regular gaming mouse. I can't wait to see the Gameball Pro!
ive had my gameball for 7 months now i think, and its the best trackball i had in recent years, but recently it seems to be dry under the ball and it causes jerky motions when i make small movements, not really a huge deal but i was wondering if you or anyone had any advice on how to smooth it out again
@@lttomparis of course, though when i think back on it i did make the follish mistake of using clorox wipes on them. i dont know why i thought that was a good idea to use it.
@@Gebora On the bearings? Or on the ball? Either way, I'm pretty sure it didn't do much harm, if any. I'd suggest just washing the ball (I use a teeny-tiny drop of infant-safe dishwashing detergent, then a quick rinse), drying it (best if with a glass-safe microfiber cloth), then just rubbing it on the bridge and/or around the side of your nose for a couple of seconds to have it build up a layer of... er, natural lubrication. For the bearings, I usually just use a fluffy microfiber cloth to scoop up built-up debris every couple of weeks or so.
Hello Guy. We have a 30 day refund policy. In the US, we send you a return label. Outside the US, you have to mail it to us, then we issue a refund. Does that help?
The pro is going to be another right hand exclusive trackball? There really are zero options for us lefties om the market. Especially in the gaming market. Just a casual 10% of the market stuck with ambi stuff.
I hear you. Yes, the Pro (at launch) will be right handed only. I cannot say how popular it will be and if we will get to a left handed version or not. The standard GameBall is ambidextrous.
@@GameBallTrackball considering how small the entire market is to begin with I doubt it will make it to left handedness. It's just unfortunate because I'd love a dedicated thumb ball or over fingerball set up that molded to my hand.
Hello Eric at gameball. I’ve just ordered my gameball yesterday and am very exited, But I am bummed that the kit isn’t available I was wondering are you guys gonna re release the ball kit if so when do you think? Anyway that’s all I wanted know thanks.
You may have to expand the desription. "GameBall Pro - The Pro model will be a right-handed design with a larger ball, wireless capabilities, new components, physical scroll wheel, and additional firmware options. Pro will be released in 2023"
Looking forward to seeing the Gameball Pro :O

Thanks for the feedback. I played some Elden Ring, but I couldn't get into it. I am not sure why, it is a great game.

Was there supposed to be more info on the Gameball Pro in the description? I'm interested!
We have a few details. You may have to hit "Show more". We will share the design and features once we get closer.

You've tried popping out the ball and removing any built up dirt on the bearings?

I have yet to get one rn my current trackball is great but if it ever stops working it will be my next shot
How is the return process? I wanna try this but at 150 dollars and I can't get used to it will I be able to return it?

Is the ball on the Gameball Pro going to be thumb operated? If not, will there ever be a release for a thumb operated Gameball?
It will be a finger trackball. GameBall Thumb will be our next model after Pro. We are still a very small team.

It isn't just shooter games, it is our old videos. We didn't have the time/resources to monitor them.
