No. That's wrong. They responded fast because they are ESFR sprinklers and are designed to respond fast. It has nothing to do with their temperature ratings. A 63 degreee celsius ESFR sprinkler will activate faster than a 63 degree celsius standard response CMDA sprinkler. The response time index (RTI) of the ESFR sprinkler is much faster than that of a "control mode" standard response sprinkler.
