    I feel like this is perfect for older adults, 50 years or older. As you get older, free weights are extremely hard on your joints, but cable training gives you the ability to do resistance training without feeling like you're destroying your joints. Thank you for this. Will keep an eye out for it and buy it when I get older.

    Nice review, man. At first glance, this seemed like something that would be pretty gimmicky. But it actually seems pretty sweet after hearing your thoughts on it. It looks like it has a ton of cool features, and I'd actually love to try this if I had a home gym. I'd be interested to see how you incorporate this into your training in future videos!

      No one serious about training will buy this piece of ... for $3000.. Whats the point of this if you can just get a homegym for that price. Even just a barbel and some weights are superior

    • @EnkiriElite
      @EnkiriElite  7 місяців тому +2

      no one is saying that a barbell isn't superior. however, some people won't use barbells no matter how much you try to convince them to, but they will use something like this. if that's the case then I see no problem if it improves compliance. @@soez_strg6166

    There is something I want to know:
    When I make a template by my self and I do the Workout and get more reps done, will the machine adapt the weight with the next set or next Workout.
    And in my template: can i change to exentric mode?

    I’m surprised by this sponsor. cool for someone wanting a home gym with very limited space. But the lack of stability seems like would be a real infuriating problem for meatheads.

    • @EnkiriElite
      @EnkiriElite  7 місяців тому +4

      Stability in terms of the entire apparatus or in terms of the implement you are lifting?
      The apparatus itself was pretty stable.
      The implements are cable tension so they are only going to be as "stable" as the user can make them. In my case, it's not something I am acclimated to doing so I wobbled a good bit on certain things. That's not really "instability" as you can't really lose the lift in the same way as with free weights. It's more like a wobbliness from unfamiliarity. What you are seeing in this video is literalty the first time I used the machine. I have no doubt that with consistent use that wobbliness will fade. First time I ever bench pressed a barbell I was WAY more off kilter than this lol.

    • @balboa0621
      @balboa0621 6 місяців тому

      You can actually adjust the attachment point on the barbell. Putting the cables closer to the center increases stability

    Would you be willing to do a video on programming and progression for dummy strength like you did for "how to incorporate explosive exercises?" You've been doing a lot on this topic lately, it would be awesome to see it all come together. Maybe a hybrid athlete v2 covering all three strength/explosive/dummy

    Looks cool. I actually wanted some cable station for home(cant really do cable flies,or triceps pushdowns at home currently) that doesnt take too much space and this looks like accomplishes exactly that but its too expensive for my budget. Maybe someday ill get it though. Also question: Is it possible (with maybe some improvisation) to do belt squats and leg extensions on this?

    • @EnkiriElite
      @EnkiriElite  7 місяців тому +1

      you could rig up a leg extension but I wouldn't bother with that...the belt squat though! that's actually a really good idea! I think you could set that up and make it work probably pretty close to the real thing. I'm gonna try that this week!

    • @Marko-ij4vy
      @Marko-ij4vy 7 місяців тому

      @@EnkiriElite Hey have you tried those belt squats on it yet?

    • @EnkiriElite
      @EnkiriElite  7 місяців тому

      I did try it, but unfortunately I couldn't make it work. You need to use both resistance cables to be able to get enough resistance (instead of just one in the center of the belt), but when you use both it either gets in the way of your legs or angles the cables too much (I was worried they might fray over time). So belt squat is a no go imo. I ended up doing high rep zerchers instead.@@Marko-ij4vy

    Do you think the slight instability of the cable bar would transfer over to increase your strength on your typical bb movements?

    • @EnkiriElite
      @EnkiriElite  7 місяців тому

      I wouldn't expect anything crazy in terms of transfer, but I don't think that really matters tbh. If you have the tool use it for the stimulus provides and that is good enough in and of itself.

    I have one question. Is this going to included in your regular training?

    • @EnkiriElite
      @EnkiriElite  7 місяців тому +2

      I like it for a few things, i.e. rows, face pulls, curls, triceps stuff, pulldowns, etc. Even high rep "barbell" stuff, i.e., squats, RDL's, bench, ohp.
      For me it will mostly be used for auxiliary work. I'm probably not going to be maxing out the stack for my heavy squat slot any time soon though.

  • @38Fanda
    @38Fanda 7 місяців тому

    id say its a good buy if it would have double or triple the resistance to use this instead of a squat rack and so you can do deadlifts at 3 am without any neighbor hearing the digital slamming.
    but 220lbs is not even a novice deadlift so the company needs to step up the resistance.

    • @EnkiriElite
      @EnkiriElite  7 місяців тому +1

      it's like pseudo instability. It's not really the same type of instability as ring or dumbbell training, for example. It's hard to explain. I think it was just neuromuscular unfamiliarity causing the unstable sensation in my case.
