Man i have been trying to tell everyone. Last week on reddit a few guys were talking a guy into getting the big bore proline, or hot racing big bores and I said there's a half price option that blows all of them away!
I tried two sets and gave up on them, the quality is too inconsistent. One set was not smooth at all, second set one of the spring retainers was from some other injora shock and unusable. On the plus side Injora has great customer service.
Have had these shocks on my MB24 for a few months now, they work great. I don't miss the bounce lol. Now you have to get 24Yep on these. Great video sir...
They are so perfect for the scx24 I've tried them all and always go back to them. All the extra parts and spacers they throw in are super handy for all sorts of stuff on your builds it's truly a steal for these for like twenty something dollars. I fill mine with oil first then drip a little out at a time until I can compress them all the way without any tension.
Duuuude, thanks so much for this vid ! Right on time ! I’ve had these in my cart for about 2 weeks and couldn’t decide whether I’d get it or not 😂 Thank you 🙏🏻
I haven't tried their big bore shocks yet, but I did install their regular oil-filled shocks on a build recently and absolutely love them. I already have a truck in mind that the big bores will go on, just need to make it happen now!
I've got these shocks on my bronco with the meus lcg chassis. Game changer. Used my bronco to review some injora tires and it's hitting crazy lines now.
I haven’t found any better oil shock than the HR LT Oil shocks with the removable lower spring retainer. Super smooth and quick easy spring swaps with no re-oiling. $40, but the best I have found and worth it. I’ve found the big bores need a heavy vehicle and I’m not a fan of how wide they are… can be a fitment issue depending… I may try these out… as I tend to try most things at least once. Cheers brother!
100 percent I haven't even watched a video 100% agree with you bro for the price you cannot find it better machined well put together while sprung and no leak and you got a bladder and you got a bleeder hole so in the bottom they got not just two red ovaries shoved in there either they got another little thin one in between them I would definitely recommend it and get some green slime and slime up those O-rings that are in the bottom but yes I run thick fluid in mine I mix 20,000 weight difference and 70 until I get the consistency I want and then I run it
I’ve got these 40mm shocks on my fcx24m 110 defender and they are perfect! 👌 I use slightly heavier oil in the rear because it’s quite heavy in the back.
Good review! Was very curious about them, I have the normal bore 39mm...two issues, they stick and too tall for me so went back stock. But was curious about the big bores .Love all my injora stuff usually
im currently using the 45mm Injora shocks on my FCX18, the question is, im doing rock-crawling im not using the soft spring(rig weight= 900g more less), if i want a slow return of the spring... the stem currently have 4 dots where the oil goes (currently using 2000cst) , I can close 1 or 2 and i reduce the speed of it or i can buy 4000 cst oil... what your think about.
Play it's only one thing I disagree with on this I forgot I even put a message on here but I do run thicker fluid in mine because if I'm going across something steep right and my nose is up there but my rear ends getting ready to drop down to come across if your rear end drops down real fast it will jerk you off the wall I like to run my Springs further down on the shock it just seems like I get better response I cut him down a little bit

@@seewell8168 oh really? This is probably my 5th set. I’ve had no issues. Yes atleast they are great customer service.
After trying out the oil filled injora 39mm, 40mm, hot racing double barrel shocks and by far the prolines will continue to be my go to shocks

Also nice to finally see someone using thinner oil in these. On point !
Glad I could help! Get them ordered!
certainly a huge improvement over stock undamped springs. Nice smooth performance and they look pretty cool too. Cheers dude.
Appreciate that!
just bought these shocks for my new SCX24 Bronco, can't stand how bouncy it is, can't wait to install these , thanks for your help!
Awesome, let me know how they work out for you!
I love these shocks i have 2 sets that work flawlessly!

Such a great great video man! Well put together and things explained!
I used 75w in mine but my rig is over 400g. Seem to do pretty well
Awesome! Yes mines very light
Great vid bro!!! I haven tried those yet, I've been using the 39s, and love them but these look good too!!! Rock on!!!
I love them both!

I think you’d enjoy these! For half the price of hot racing shocks and pro lines. These are great option.
Very nice rig. Well built!

Trying to set these up for droop idk if I haven't put enough oil or what but they bind like crazy on my rig and I got spacers behind em
It has to be the angle. I don’t run any spacers on mine and they work great. It just depends on the axle you use

Thank you! I use traxxas oil
THank You. I needed this.
Anytime!
Sweet. Just bought a set yesterday!
Hope you enjoy it!
Hi, looking to upgrade suspension on my hobby plus cr-24 do you think these would work? If so my car is about 400g so what weight should I use?
I think injora makes shocks for that model. You’ll have to double check to see if they fit.
Good review! Was very curious about them, I have the normal bore 39mm...two issues, they stick and too tall for me so went back stock. But was curious about the big bores .Love all my injora stuff usually
These are great! I usually run longer shocks with no springs. But these with the springs sit perfectly and feel amazing
Great tutorial 🤘✌️
Glad you liked it!

Sorry that I’m not sure of.
what oil do you use and i could use a bit of help putting my shocks on lol could you give me some advice
I used 5wt. But my rig is light. 20wt is a good medium. Search how to installed scx24 shocks. I’m sure their is a ton of videos out there
I hope their the goodest, amazon just delivered them today🤘🏻
You’ll love them!
Shocking
@@local24_ agreed.
Freaking love mine!!!! ❤❤❤ gonna get a couple more sets and put the prolines to the side
Agree with that!
My Scx24 Jeep Wrangler V3 came with Oil filled shocks.
They are also great shocks!
Wait till you find out about 500k diff fluid mixed with 10wt shick oil mixed to your taste of viscosity
Ohhhh yes
What body is that?
It’s a fj45. I purchased the file off cults3D
