@@TankSenior i was talking specifically about the 2014 oscars, which is where it was snubbed. but i do also think that it's better than paprika. it's miyazaki's best movie, imo, and there isn't a single movie of his i'd rate under four stars.

NL doesn't seem to know this but there really aren't many good foreign animated movies. Or at all. There's been at most like 2 great animated movies from Europe the last 10 years.
3 nominated movies is legit the most this category can afford. This year Elemental got nominated, that movie wouldn't even make top 50 for best picture.
