How to remove the bracelet from an Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra watch using a Bergeon springbar tool

    It is a necessity to remove a watch's bracelet in order to change straps or clean the watch under the end links.
    While you can pay someone to do this, it is actually quite easy to do with some practice.
    Here, I show how to remove the bracelet on an Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra with a Bergeon 6767 tool with fine forked tip.
    As with anything, practice is key to get used to the movements and force needed to compress the spring bar.
    I recommend practicing on a cheap watch before you attempt to do this with your Omega watch.

      It is a bergeon 6767f (fine tip). If you Google it you find sellers.

    better to just get the bergeon tweezers 7825 and never look back

      I've never tried the tweezers...could not visualize how they are able to hold on to the spring bar but I've heard lots of praise for them. Someday I will give them a try.
