モルドバからこんにちは。
@@ANTONINJAPAN モルドバからこんにちは。日本が大好きです。 ラジオ愛好家として、私は日本の技術と「Made in Japan」の電子機器が大好きです。
All the natural light pouring into the first floor is saving electricity during the day. By not putting the interior walls back & removing a 2nd floor bedroom, the first floor flows & feels brighter & airy. I remembered one of your previous video before you started renovating, it was darker on the first floor. Well done!
Thank you for noticing! airy and brighy was what I was aiming for!
You are so handsome Anton
How old are you
Do you have a girlfriend
Who turns on lights during daylight hours? I didn’t know that was a thing. 😅 While sunlight is free, air conditioning is not, so because the extra heat will also need to be cooled during the warmer months it’s a bit of a wash. Gorgeous though!
The pride of ownership and most of all, the satisfaction of having been involved with the extensive renovations is evident in your face and is wonderful to see. Good job!
18:00 A bathroom on the second floor? That is so awesome. I've stayed at five or six homes in Japan, and none of them had a bathroom on the second floor. Having to schlep down to the first floor bathroom in the middle of the night was such a pain. Good work!
I love how excited and proud he is for everything that he did. You can see the love he put into making his dreamhouse :)
I love the Japanese/Swedish esthetic and you have done another remarkable job well done. Thank you for my Sunday morning viewing.
hope you enjoyed with an oishii black coffee!
Two great styles that when married in art makes for quite the distinct signature bcs of how niche it is,
I can see the love for the stairs. They are gorgeous
Thank you very much, we worked hard on it!
From my 85 year old mom who had lived in Japan, " I enjoyed it!".
Thank you Joan! 🌟
Beautiful work, love that you thought of recycling/reusing as much as you did, and using lots of actual wood so you can more easily maintain and refurbish as the years go by.
I thought it was a bit funny on how much you focus on lots of light and natural elements- it feels like a very trademark Scandinavian thought process so your roots are definitely showing.
Thank you for your comment!
The video and house are, of course, gorgeous. But I wanted to say how much I love the audio: very clean and natural, and with earphones it sounds like you’re there. Thanks for sharing this! 🩵
Actually, “oidaki” is to reheat the bathtub water, that is very useful when you are inside and it’s getting warm.
Nice, really nice! Now, onto the next project! Cannot wait for it. 🎉
Really nice! I'd also like to see more casual vlogs from your daily life in Japan.
Anton, you have every right to be proud of the work you did on your home, it's beautiful, especially the stairs! You made me laugh when you spoke about the doors upstairs. When I was little my family and I lived in Japan for 4 years; my father was stationed at Tachikawa from 1957 to 1961. We had Shoji doors that my older brothers were always poking their fingers and hands through, they thought it was great fun! Poor Dad had to keep fixing them. I envy you being able to live there, I always wanted to go back but never had the opportunity.
I am in awe of what you and friends created. Inspiring ❤
Thank you, Anton.
Most appreciated❤😊
i love the front door, the genkai and the entire 2nd flr.
loving the 'The Sims 2' background music on the beginning 😊 really loving the renovation. Congrats on completing this project 🎉
Wow this is art
It looks great, I think most of your choices work well (it appears like you have good taste 😏). I like the idea of trying to salvage some elements from the old house so that it somehow lives on, but I wouldn't have thought there was a chance in hell one could make those pink tiles look good and yet I think you've pulled it off... black and pink (mauve?..) pair well. I would consider re-painting or replacing the bathtub with a black one though (unless you come across a real hinoki tub you can fit in there...) 👍
Great project, love the passion you show and how you combine elements from different countries in a good way. A few question: 1) No blackout curtains? 2) Can't you hide the washer behind a cabinet door? 3) will you rent this out mostly or use mostly for yourself to live?
At 18:30 he talks about having a hotel license for the house so I don’t think he will live there. And the house didn’t seem to have any personal items which would also suggest he’s not living there currently.
He is going to use it as an air bnb.
Lived in Japan 35 years ago for a few years. Love love the tatami rooms and futons. Nostalgic for me. Thank you for sharing your craftsmanship with us!❤
So great! Don’t throw out the great older elements-like those amazing, dare I say lust worthy..-pink tiles!!! I’ve been following for a bit and I’m so envious! Well done Anton!!!
Great house and tour Anton! I don’t always stick around for the renovation process but love seeing the finished results. I am not a big fan of the pink tiles in the bathroom though. Probably because my bathroom has the same ones. An older lady used to live here. I hate them and want to get rid of them someday.
Also off topic, I can’t believe believe after four and a half years I am almost done the Duolingo Swedish Tree. I study more than just Swedish so that’s why it took longer.
Lycka Till!
Excellent work. It's a beautiful home and the older features are a really nice touch. I'm impressed with it's beauty and functionality.👍
Wonderful !
I've been following you for such a long time and I'm so excited to finally see the result of your work!!
Yay! Thank you!
You've done an amazing job! Please keep sharing stuff in Japanese too, it's helpful for us learners.
Thank you! Will do! 🌹
This is a nice old Haus! Wir leben in einem Fachwerkhaus von 1793! We love thiese old houses!
They have their beautiful old soul!
Greetings from Germany! 👌😎
Meine grossmutter sind deutsch! Ich bin einer Wörmann.
Danke schön mein freund
@@ANTONINJAPANThats funny, I was kind of thinking if you are partly German - ob du zum Teil deutsch bist :) Greetings from Germany from me, too :) I hope I will be able to see Japan for the first time soon.
What a delight to see!!
So so beautiful. Wish one of those kimonos was on display in the house. thanks for shown us!
My brother Matthew moved to Japan years ago and started a family, haven’t seen him since 😢
I'm sorry for your familly 😢
Is it not possible for you to visit him and his family?
Just go and visit him - plus we have tech now to make connection possible
Beautiful! Well done, Anton!
You accomplished a glorious home!
Congratulations! Love what you accomplished.❤❤❤
It looks beautiful, and very comforting. ❤😊 Anyone who would be fortunate enough to visit such a wonderful place would be very blessed.
Thank you so much for showing us the tour, it’s beautiful
Thank you for this video, i was feeling sad this morning but your positivity has lifted my spirits. :)
Lovely! Thanks for sharing!!!
Congrats! Amazing job! So much hard work!
Well done Anton! To do something useful and profitable with these properties is a great achievemnt! Lived in Japan for almost 6 years and never would have even imagined such a project.
Your house looks lovely! I love that you lowered the floor it makes the room look more bigger. And the natural wood are really much better, my friend has a house and they also used a lot of real wood and it’s so comfortable and warm.
Maybe you should turn this into a business. Renovate Akiya houses and sell or rent them. You have a nice taste.
love everything you've done, kept, and innovated on! ❤
"The Swedish Embassy, Ikea." So funny!
Dude this is absolutely inspiring. I've been around Japan a couple times now from South Africa and you are helping me in my decision to actualise a dream I've had of making a home there! Such a beautiful house and I really love the use of recycled materials and fusing the traditional along with your own aesthetic of home! Great stuff!
So beautiful. What a labor of love. I hope it is a good business for you. I see how you appreciate the opportunity and cherish your environment. You have a lot of talent.
The house turned out amazing! Congrats! 🎉
Beautiful 🤩 Very good for you! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Congrats, man! Nice project and execution ❤
Congrats Anton - keep going - looking forward to the next house.
🎉 fantastic renovation!!! Good bones that house 🎉 cant wait to read your book-youre doing the international community a great service, gracias ❤
Wow
Otsukaresama.
Good job, man 👍
I also live in Japan and I bought a house with a small front yard, few months ago
and I love DIY, as you said: let’s make it cool again! 😊
I built a wooden deck and fence around my house and my neighbors are saying: すごい every time when I do something outside of my house. It’s not very common for ordinary guys here to build something in their own house. They always call professionals to do the job…
Ones again good job and good luck with your next project.
The house renovation looks fantastic. Great job 👍
Lovely home!!!
loved this! really inspired me to start looking at what pockets of my own home to fix up 🤭 love your work!
LOVE all the beautiful wood!
I really love the japanese/scandinavian style. I'm Norwegian and im currently saving all the money I can. In a few months I'll start studying japanese at uni. My dream is to eventually be able to work in Japan, buy an Akiya and renovate it. It all seems very difficult and a bit scary, but looking at your videos and getting valuable insight it seems a bit more possible. Keep up the great work on the channel, I'm looking forward to your future projects.
Takk min vän!
My book will provide you with valuable information as well, I hope you like it 📕
It turned out amazing and I like how the two stiles merge perfectly together, like it has been all the time this way or allways was planned to be like this. It reminds me of my first impression of Japan in 2008 visit, that Japan is crazy combination of extremely old tradition and extremely modern lifestyle. This house turned out to be the embodiment of Japan itself.
Gillestuga feels, i like it
haha, thats right!
So beautiful ! finally you have your home! well done for your hard work! greetings from Greece!
You need a scroll reflecting the seasons in the sacred space.
Congratulations! Your vision and execution are amazing.
Thank you very much! More to come 🇯🇵❤️🇸🇪
It is a beautiful house! You have done an amazing job! Love it. ❤
Had been to Tokyo twice more than 10 years ago and still in my mind . Can’t forget it. I subscribed!
Starkt jobbat med huset, det ser väldigt bra ut. Vem skulle inte vilja bo där.
Ser fram emot ditt nästa projekt 😊
All the stuff you did I just love it so much ❤❤❤❤, your amazing 👏
I've been sober for a while 06:40 I've turned this outdoor space 😂 into a bar
The comment at 14:41, you often take for granted that which you have. It took a while for me to convince my wife we should get a kominka, but now we are actively looking for one.
I hope you find a nice one! Best of luck
Beautiful House. You did an amazing job.
This is so marvelous! I have been watching these for a year now, congratulations! You nailed it (your house is perfect)
Wow, you did and amazing job Anton! The place looks great 😊
Thanks for watching. Reveal of new project happening soon!
This is amazing!!!!! I wanna live in a house like this!!! Sending love from Kanagawa
It looks beautiful Anton well done very nice
BEAUTIFUL!
Very beautiful! Well done
That last space, the “sacred space”; is that where they put their prayer items? What exactly was used for before?
Outstanding!
Beautiful home
Nice tour of a great renovation. If you like Pine, since you're in Japan, use Hinoki...the smell of fresh cut Hinoki is like heaven on earth. Can't wait to follow along on your next build.
And you mentioned Hinoki RIGHT AFTER I made this comment...lol.
Hittade din kanal idag och wow va duktig du är! Så kul att se vad du skapar och kul att du är från Sverige. :)
Ha det bäst från Göteborg!
This house is gorgeous .I'm so glad that you kept most of the Japanese parts of the house. It would have lost something if it was gotten rid of. Looking forward to your next project. Great job. Very unique. Luv a house that still smwlls of wood.Give it alittle extra something.
I think this is absolutely fantastic and wonderful I wish you blessings and luck
It is a very nice house. Good job 👏
I love this
Very nice!!
So beautiful 🎉🎉
It’s beautiful so much color I l I love all of the beautiful colors
All of the beautiful wood reminds me of the interior of a Swiss Chalet!!
Beautiful. The light and air you created are superb. The great craftsmanship
of Japan is evident..so very well done. "The Swedish Embassy, Ikea"
Nice work. Well done sir.
Damn Anton, that's house is really freaking beautiful, great job! 🙌💚🤩
Thats woden cabins are so amazing! Very nice job at all. Hello from Czech Republic.
Looks great gorgeous! as American you need to put a banister on the staircase people could fall specially older
❤👍
Beautiful
Love this. My wife and I are considering buying a place in Japan and there’s a lot of good pointers as we intend to renovate as well
Love love love xx
I like that you had the first videos in Japanese and English.
Cooles kleines Haus 🎉
I hope, one day, I will have my own house too !!!
hey- love what you did with your house . I was a little disappointed that you didn’t hang one kimono on the wall as decoration ! I love kimono and obi fabrics and they hang so nicely on a piece of bamboo or a dowel ! oh well - the end result is truly stellar in the popular jspsnfi style and i can understand why your interior has gained such attention . Maybe it will inspire some japanese people to follow in your footsteps, Anton - best of luck . I can’t wait to see what you’re gonna do with your beach houses . ❤🎉❤🎉
Looks amazing. Wish I could visit Japan one day 😄 /a Swede
I have a few of those "string hylla" out in the barn, didn't think you would get one for your house as they seem to have become a forgotten design
