Absolutely wonderful...my entire admiration and respect for all modellers!!!
2:45 : the best interior i have ever seen
What movie is that ship from?
AFAIK, it's not from any show. Look up "Randy Cooper MLEV-5". There's a kit, but it's not cheap.
@@mattp1337 what is nice but cheap these days? Thanks man :)
The exterior looks like it's inspired by the pod from 2001 and the interior looks like it's inspired by the first Alien. But hey the first Alien is sorta also inspired by 2001...
That was mindblowing. I wanted to take a nap in one of those bunks.
It took 3 years to make my resin Firefly "Serenity"...in my mind detailed...in reality just "impressionist ......I could just cry !........such amazing modelling !
I’ve seen some great models, but the detailed interiors seen here, are second to none. Incredible and expensive I’m sure.
Just something about the one at 2:30 and the interior. absolutely breath-taking. By far my favorite with a more visually apparent story. How they live, what they have access to, etc.. If only that was an aftermarket kit, it would be on its way to me right now.
Man this is awesome
With all that detail that I have to admit was STUNNING. I didn't see a bathroom.
need its name...

@@tristanlongangue5671 huh?
I make robots but I think I need this level of professionalism, all this is excellent.
INCREDIBLE work on all the vehicles. Thanks for sharing. AWESOME.
I used to build sci fi models and I’ve entered several shows and won a couple silver medals. Somewhere I lost interest, maybe I’ll get it back. After awhile, you just don’t have the time to devote to some of these HUGE projects. And once you’re married either children, there’s no room for these huge creations either.
Still, I applaud all their craftsmanship.
Then just don't marry.
Did you make them from scratch? It's fascinating what imagination ca lead to.
I love models. I would dedicate 1 room in the house or garage for my hobbies and time alone from it all
I suggest you to enter 3D real-time immersive stereoscopic computer graphics, you will obtain 100.000% more entertainment at a fraction of cost and time
@@zdenekburian1366 great idea!
Love the fiber optic lighting.
The flying saucer from The Thing is dope.
Which film? John Carpenter's film never had a visible flying saucer in it. It blew up in the ice. Was it in one of the awful sequels?
@@fuzzywzhe John Carpenter's film did have the flying saucer in it, right at the start you see it crashing to Earth.
@@fuzzywzhe it has, I saw it last week
Nice
@@fuzzywzhe maybe watch the movie from the beginning again?? It's literally the first thing you see in the movie rofl
Nice that someone took an interest in my X-Wing build at 1:57. That was a labor of love.
I built a few X Wing models as a kid and yours were pretty awesome. In one of mine, I rigged up a tiny face camera for the pilot.
Wonderful models just amazes me to see such beautiful work this is what makes this hobby so great and happy to be a small part of it thank you all
yehhhh
2:30 deserves it's own video
Is that a lunar lander?
I’d love to see a full build of this one! Is it from anything?
What is that ship from? It's the only one I don't recognize.
I'm like the rest...I want to know all about this ship!
Went ahead and looked it up. It's a very detailed model kit... ua-cam.com/video/ZkeOoIWw3SI/v-deo.html
Now that my jaw up back up off the floor I can type something. Amazing work! I made some of those models as a kid and this brought back memories.
Nice to see people of all ages enjoying it!
Awesome! Magnificent! Brilliant!
beautiful. i loved building models as a kid even though only a handful ever turned out well. i still occasionally dream about finding a model store with an amazing selection of models to choose from, and taking arm fulls of boxes and supplies home with me to happily work on them later. lol good memories. i feel like this event would've been a dream come true for my inner child.
INSANE Job
The Saucer from The Thing was my favorite.
Awesome craftsmanship and attention to detail , better than some of the models you see in the movies.
AMAZING THOSE MODELS ARE IN DETAILS!
ALRIGHT !!! I want one of each !!! ASAP !!!
Nice video, thanks for sharing.
I have never been to this event and one day I would like to attend. But, from what I've seen here in this video, a lot of love went into these models and they look absolutely fantastic. So many iconic ships from memorable sci-fi shows. I didn't see one of my all-time faves...the Colonial Viper from the 1983 Battlestar Galactica series on ABC. I must say that the one ship I saw in this clip that I thought had a unique visual quality, maybe because of the LEDs and the simple saucer shape, is the ship from The Thing. I didn't know what it was until someone else in the comments mentioned it. Then I was like, "Oh! That's what it is! I knew it seemed familiar." Putting models together always relaxed me like nothing else did. But, I never had the tools or skills to paint them in the way I wanted. Now, I'm older and better equipped to get back into the hobby. Great video that put a smile on my face. Thanks.
Some really beautiful models there Jack, thanks for sharing 🖒😉
Tim Wilkinson You're welcome!
Holy Smokes. Thank you for sharing that and put together so well.
Thanks for the great video!!!
More amazing models! Wish I had talent like that! The Shuttlecraft Shackleton from the USS Endurance was especially noteworthy.
amazing machines!!!!
Awesome video!🏆😯😁👍🏿
Cool, thanks.
Can’t honestly say which one is best because they are all master class thanks for sharing wonderful work 👍
Incredible. Excellent music too.
Wow .. amazing builds
Since I couldn't comment on the 2019 year, I'm surprised nobody built the USS Cygnus from Disney's The Black Hole that year. The movie was 40 years old in 2019.
Good recall! This film deserves a remake! And a proper homage for it´s forty years!
I actually HAD the MPC model of The Cygnus, still in the box, I had big plans for LED lighting it and all, but I sold it on eBay a few years back. I think I got like $100 for it.
saw a yt review that pointed out two flaws- a background plate eclipse blooper and "no habitable life" dialogue blooper. just fix those- no woke remake!
also i think they gave a nod to maximillion in the incredibles when the bot span its claws in the volcano- might be me...

The great works of art are truly spectacular. Well done everybody
Amazing world of scales.🎥🎞🎬
A nod to who ever took the time to put these models together. But a "nicely done" to those that went above and beyond by adding lighting and/or making the interiors. My only issue is that these are someone else's creations that we could find in a store or buy and assemble the models. If these were original creations then that's a whole other story that would deserve a "wow", "ooh", "ahhh", "incredible", and I'm sure they would be getting job offers for creating original ideas for new TV shows and/or movies.
wow amazing
Love the music
Absolutely amazing stuff wow
Brilliant..
This was my first Wonderfest. Came all the way from Tacoma. I had a terrific time.
I too was fascinated by the spacecraft at minute 2:30 ... I am pleased to note that it is the most interesting. Very very nice :-)
Good Job Modelers.
Really Amazing
Great vid, thanks very much for posting it
This is an art
If you like yourself a lot... go let it out, go let it in, go let it out...
Some people is really really amazing...!
Just... AWESOME!
Most impressive!
1:06 *(The Unknown Alien Ship From The Movie [The Thing ] That Crashed On Earth 1000 Years Ago).* Wonder What It Looks Like Inside.?
Amazing work
The "helmet" is sublime
Fantastic music
Is so good living in a civilized country ... You can make anything
just simply wow!
WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW.....!
The music was really amazing! (plus the models) :)
I need to go to one of these
Awesome 👏
We need models like these for our cats in space movie 🎥 in the future
👽🐈✨✨✨👍
Sooo cool 100%
Good art
Outstanding
The humongous Star destroyer looks screen accurate.
Ohhhh...this is SO cool!
Man, if they'd had these in the late 50's and 60's ... WOW!
nice nice nice....great job
Amazing work!
We never grow up the toys just get bigger
Any body else missing the NOSTROMO?
still great video👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
So cool!
wow, que bellezas de naves !!!!!!!!!!
👏👏👏👏👏👏são Paulo, Brasil!
Fantástico muito bom perfeito Parabéns
The ship from The Thing is amazing.
Ok these were ok for starters, Now do a replica of the mother ship from Close Encounters Of The Third Kind 1977 and Devils Tower.
I was at the Udvar Hazy Center just outside of D.C. to see the SR-71 and Enola Gay. Walking around seeing all these amazing planes and out of the corner of my eye, tucked away in a nook was the Close Encounters mothership. Amazing to see it in real life. Worth the trip all by itself.
@@jasongreen5944 Cool Thanks, Google maps has an inside street view you can move around in the exhibit and I found it in the Space section of the exhibit. Wish they could have done it with all the lights tho.
Groovy rides...
Fantastic! I do however often wonder why so few people build their own designs. Like that saucer or the helmet shaped spaceship. I do not recognize those. Great stuff!
Que legal ! Cresci vendo estas maravilhas sendo criadas .
Liked and subscribed.
I wish you had shown the Galactica behind the Falcon.
looks at models . eyes bug out , jaw drops to floor . wow.
The model at 2:34 was my favorite from a craftmanship POV.
2:30 - what show is that spaceship from? It looks like a robot with a MASSIVE head! I guess it's because the boosters look like arms and the windows resemble eyes.
Quick guess here, but it looks like the Nostromo's escape pod at the end of Alien.
Wow....Why don't they cut to the chase and build 1/1 scale......full size. Wish I had those skills....
Trick is a lot of them would need to be built in space, so that cuts into the budget a bit, and a few of them need nuclear reactors which have tricky licensing and approval.... one day, one day some relative of some of these designs might fly
after seeing the other models i'm kinda disappointed the enterprise didn't have working lights.
I wish this video was longer
YF-23 would look great in there
Wow.....
Good job the people painting the models had steadier hands than the person filming them. :-)
Time for a DJI Osmo.
Very nice display. I don't see this setup working at Phoenix CC. Our crowd, well when somebody isn't looking a drunk would smash that stuff. I've had to yell at people who tried to punch holes. (A wolverwine) that didn't think I people were watching was about to punch holes thru a custom R2-D2 dome I made. Shit like that happens at the con every year. Its why we can't even bring in fake guns anymore. Some dude decided CC was a good place for a mass shooting, we're lucky he was stupid and announced his plans on fakebook first.
I would love to see a large detailed model of the Antarean ship from Cocoon.
I need to finish my Discovery One.
СПАСИБО!
С У П Е Р К Л А С С ! ! ! 👍👍👍
when someone asks me what my favorite character in Star Wars is... I always say the Millennium Falcon
Oh god... I know I’m a nerd now... I named everything but the ball shaped spacecraft lol. Even knew the Eagle was a rescue version (was a huge Gerry Anderson fan when I was a kid and even had all the thunderbirds, Joe 90’s car and special agent kit, Stingray (several versions), UFO shado mobile, Captain Scarlet Angel jet, SPV, patrol car, MSV, Space 1999 Eagle and UFO Interceptor (in green which really peed off the kid me as I wanted the white ones like in the show lol). Yeah, my parents really spoiled the hell out of me now I come to think of it... and my Dad was a factory worker too. He was the one who made me a sci-fi geek.
gods i love interiors.
I love BABILON 5.
