Lookin at Sha’carrii old interviews from HS, AAU, college, HS signing and first turning pro, Sha’carrii was a totally different person. She was nothing like she is now. She was respectful, humble, giddy and full of life. She even was referring to Shelly Ann as Mrs. Shelly and sung Shelly praises. She hugged and shook hands afterward and hugged her competition. Between her switching from her college coach to Dennis Mitchell her whole personality changed. I believe this coach molded her mind into this person that she is now

The strange thing about track is distance training work for some coaches, as with others they don't use it at all. A successful coach has his or her methods and there is no right r wrong, its following the coaches training to get maximum output. distance running never hurt, especially in off season.
And then a coach gets an athlete that is so talented no matter how awful that coach is the athlete still succeeds. Like how in less than a year this kid takes .4s off her PR on the way beating all the athletes who made the USA junior squad over her. I’m saying her coaches at this school were lucky, not good.
It builds endurance and is necessary for all runners.

Long distance running dosen't need speed. And It also has science behind it. In order to be a great long distance runner you also need to be built for it genetically. Hard work can only get you so far. East African have the best long distance runners In the word because they use higher percentage of their fast twitch muscles fibers. Which is responsible for muscle endurance. While the fast twitch muscle fibers are responsible for speed and explosiveness. So It's not a coincidence why East Africans dominate the long distance running and West African short distance running. Which Is why you also don't have many top East Africans basketball ball players or boxers and mma fighters.
