rejection's a bit of a strong word given she's not coming on to him. it's more like the classic "don't make the wife angry" sort of quip. all in good fun.
For me it was a film that caught my attention because I identified myself in the urban condition of life in the center of Rio. And this I believe many in London, Madrid and many other similar places felt the same thing.
I'm watching The Warriors right now. The fight scenes, especially for the day, were fantastic. My favorite fight scenes were with the Baseball Furies and The Punks. The zero dialogue between from the foes was a brilliant move. Makes them a darker enemy. Favorite foe was Konrad Sheehan as the leader of The Punks. Learned that he taught himself to skate just for the role. Good skater! The Warriors really stands the test of time for me. Low-budget film that became a cult classic. Who doesn't love an underdog story!
This movie is a cult classic and every time I catch it on TV it never loses its appeal in my eyes. In fact I just watched it and that is why I am here. I was just going down memory lane. This movie has definitely stood the "test of time."
the game is great real good combat and really brutal lol lot more so than the films but is made by Rockstar, also shows what happend before the film which is cool
Ajax (James Remar). Movie star still so he has a reason. Snow and Cowboy... maybe they don’t like being a part of it anymore. Neither came back for voice work for the game and neither showed up here. Vermin didn’t do voice work but his changed quite.
Vermin didn't send me to college, but he did say something that I have used to get me through the worst of my life, and I will never forget for the rest of my life: "Hey, we're gonna make it back. We came this far and we're gonna go the rest of the way."
Damn I would have loved to attend a warriors reunion event like this..I hope they will have one again someday And the host of this clip is omg beautiful

Its great seeing these fellers & gals getting all this recognition they're getting. They deserve it as this was a kick ass movie back in the day. My hats off to ya. GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's really hard to explain this timeless classic. And it's not only a US phenomenon, but also here in my country. I saw the movie back in 79 and I have my copy.
An iconic movie with a sumptuous soundtrack that was very radical for its day by adding the movies dialogue to the record...a masterstroke if ever there was one.
The Warriors...."The best". What a classic movie...bravo to the cast and it was pretty fucking cool to see them back on the streets kicking ass as usual! "WARRIORS....COME OUT TO PLAY-EE-YAY"!!!!
There's a phenomenon I've noticed where 2 similar actors rise to prominence around the same time and through various circumstances one ends up with the other one's career. Former costars Travolta and ONJ released films in the summer of 1980: Urban Cowboy came out in June everywhere and Xanadu came out in August in a limited release. Both had soundtracks that were big hits, but Urban Cowboy got the eyeballs on it, including its villain, who was tall and lean with squinty eyes and high cheekbones--a lot like Michael Beck, who also had his breakthrough role playing the main antagonist. His next big roles were playing the coach in Personal Best and Alan B. Shepard in The Right Stuff, both high profile movies. Beck went on to star in a b-grade sci-fi in New Zealand. And so Scott Glenn got Michael Beck's career.
I've always had these actors in my imaginary, since i saw the movie. Now i see them from real. It's great, guys! Very great job your magical movie, thank you very much.
Just watched the movie on Sky in the UK for the zillionth time and enjoyed it again! Thought I'd google to see where they are now and found these videos of the guys recreating the train journey. Great stuff really made me smile!!! :-)
The MUSIC! I'm instantly transported with that music. LOVE this movie. My child wears my Warriors shirt. Aww. Oh how I'd like to see ALL of them and the girlfriend and keep a photo of Rembrandt with them. Oh my gosh!!! Thanks for the upload.
I've watched a bunch of reunion videos lately, and haven't seen any fans ask them what they thought about the music; wish someone would. It adds so much to the movie.
What a marvel this movie is, going way, way beyond "cult classic" status and into the realm of magic--a whole lotta magic. Any time you take an unsolicited script, a bunch of unknowns, simply draw from what you have around you (on a shoestring budget) and come out the other side with an enduring masterpiece, what else can it be? Well, well done cast and crew (and especially fine directing)!

Just a shame that Cowboy and Snow are wankers. Cowboy never kept in touch with others and wont attend reunions. Sounds like he regretted making the film
🤩 WOW, I wished I’d been there, to be with The WARRIORS, but I’m here in 2021.I loved this movie!!! when I watched it at the theater and still do today. As a kid it gave me hope that I could overcome any obstacles and taught me to never give up because eventually I would make it “home”, wherever that was. Great cast😍😍😍
God Bless you guys, I love The Warriors to this day. It is one of those movies when it comes on you say to yourself, O Shit, I have to watch it to the end. Great cast and great movie. Thanks you guys and gals for this movie
as time passes this film only grows in its beauti as an icon of its time and the pleace and culture it grow from. Its hard to find a movie which embodies so much about newyork in the 1970's. eveything from the grafitte on the grimy tube trains, the gang culture and the neon lite night time sub world where the only people who seemily exsist are the street kids and police. the cloths, hair styles, speach and slang words used, the trashy streets and broken down backdrop of the city. I loved everything about the films look and feel. it is no suprise that this film came right at the end of the eara it reflected. for me the break of dawn at the end of the film signal more then the end of the worriors night it signaled the end of the the entire eara that the film represented. a brilliant film which for me has become a cultral icon.
A great movie. This needed a sequel. Every part of this movie kept your eyes on the screen because you didn't want to miss ANYTHING. And the guy who clagged the Coke bottles together needed to be included, "Warriors, come out and play". That's still being used today
Remember watching this on HBO and even as a kid thinking it was a cool movie. I haven't seen it since but remember parts of it. Come out and plaaayyyyyyyyyyyy.
It's a shame Micheal Beck lost his leading tough-man cred because of Xanadu. It's called acting. He was acting in both. Shame an intelligent director didn't grab him and put him in a decent role just because some studio exec's thought he had no cred after X. I loved The Warriors and wished he was in so many more great films.
He had a great turn in the late 80s in a miniseries called Celebrity, playing a con man turned TV evangelist. Major McConaughey vibe in it. But he's not dead yet. Dude is about 70 now, that's not that old anymore. He's young enough for a Tarantino figure to give his career a Bruce Dern-style revival.
@@texasred2702 Thank you for the info about Celebrity. Much appreciated. I would love if he got offered a great movie role right about now. He's so talented.

Love how Swan basically rejects that reporter with the "my wife" line. Classy as fuck.
She was ready to pull his pants down and give him a rimmy
Thats because the camera was on...
that reporter is hot though :D but Swan is just the coolest ever!

Love this. Warriors was huge when I was a kid. Terry Michos (Vermin) looks great!
I heard the orphans are still living on that same shit block, still rumbling, but their rumbles don't make the paper anymore.
They are still trying to pay off the car that the warriors destroyed. The owner threatened to waste them

Anthony Tinaj or my boy Snow
At least James remar is a working actor which would explain his absence. As for Snow and Cowboy...don't know what their fucking problem is
Don't you remember? "Cops got Ajax." They "don't know about Swan". But, obviously, Swan got away...Heh, heh.
Terry C. Ajax had escaped that wasn't shown in the movie
Ajax was arrested and joined the government. He was assigned to take out a mob boss in Miami. He had to use an ex cop and an ex convict.
