Sixty years of listening to James Brown: I never got tired of doing it. I had the privilege of seeing him in concert 5 or 6 times. He is still the greatest! Rest in Peace JB
The GOD !!! ❤
My A1 main man of all times. Rest in Heaven to the late great James Brown.
THERE WAS A TIME! THERE WAS JAMES BROWN!
James Brown at his best.
Ain't that the truth.
Man that guitar player was out of sight!❤
And the bass...
I think There was a Time is my favorite James Brown song. I've heard about a dozen studio and live versions and it seems like every one has a different arrangement. It would be interesting to listen to them chronologically and see how the song evolved over time. I'm still looking for more versions!
That sounds interesting, must include the bootlegs too
The Hardest Working Man in Show Business is also the Funkiest Man in Show Business-this is a Funk Classic
His players were at their best too at this time❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂
Absolument formidable le montage ....James-Brown etait venu d'une autre planete Funk...le plus grand de tous les temps!!!!
Je suis d'accord ❤️100%
Classic; Nothing like it since!
This along with those live versions of Cold Sweat.
My mother took me to Apollo to see this, I remember the dancing ladies on in dressed silver mini dress. Thanks mother I was there.Gratefull for 60's 70's sweet spot.

En reecoutant en cette fin de journée ce titre, je me suis rappelé ma jeunesse à Douala en 1970 : il n'y avait que le Soûl Brother Number One.
Pour moi, la meilleure chanson de James Brown

It’s sad to say that with the Tom foolery going on in the black community, one has to listen to James Brown to understand today’s reality! R. I. P. to James Brown’s impact on the black community! Stay black!
