I put flats on my Sheraton II, and with the D-profile neck it is a blues/jazz machine.

What difference did you notice with the flats ?

@@philby8 they are heavy-warm and (this is important) easy to keep quiet as I play. Wound strings are noisy in the glides. Enjoy, my friend.
